Screen Rant can exclusively reveal that WizKids has announced a line of Dungeons & Dragons miniatures based on monsters from Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, including the displacer beast, mimic, owlbear, and a mystery monster. A lot of the creatures in DnD belong to the public domain, as concepts like elves, orcs, zombies, and dragons can't be owned by a single entity. DnD does have its own monsters that are exclusive to the game, though, including mind flayers, beholders, and the slaad race.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves hits cinemas on March 31, 2023, and fans will be able to incorporate monsters from the movie into their DnD game. WizKids has announced a line of Dungeons & Dragons minis based on monsters that have appeared in the Honor Among Thieves trailer, including a displacer beast, a mimic, a gelatinous cube, an owlbear, and a mystery monster that has yet to be announced. WizKids is also working with KidRobot to produce Honor Among Thieves plushes, which include Themberchaud the red dragon, a gelatinous cube, a mimic, a glow-in-the-dark mimic, and a displacer beast. The items can be pre-ordered now, with the collection available to view on the WizKids website.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Minis & Plushes Are On The Way

The Honor Among Thieves minis will be great for a lot of DnD groups, as the monsters on display appear in many adventures and are visually impressive but relatively low-level encounters, which means they'll be quite memorable when put on the map against a party. WizKids' DnD death dragon-riding Lord Soth mini is great for one big shock moment in a specific campaign, but a displacer beast, gelatinous cube, mimic, and owlbear will crop up a lot, especially in the official campaigns, like The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, where they all appear in different capacities.

The plushes aren't meant for DnD games (unless the group is using an absolutely huge battle map), but they're still really cute. Themberchaud is an actual character from DnD lore, and it's surreal seeing him as a hefty, huggable plush. The gelatinous cube comes with removable bones, a sword, and a shield, all presumably from one of its unlucky victims. Any of these would make a great gift for a Dungeons & Dragons fan.

Honor Among Thieves is finally giving the Forgotten Realms setting the big screen treatment, and it's great to see these iconic DnD monsters in a movie. Players can use the movie designs for these creatures in their next DnD campaign, and keep them for use in future games. The release date for the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves minis and plushes has yet to be revealed, but details can be found on the WizKids website.
