Developed by Byterunners Game Studio, Drug Dealer Simulator allows players to sell illicit substances. The game is currently still in development, but it already has the core mechanics of acquiring, packaging, and selling product while avoiding law enforcement.

With the game touting how players will eventually gain a "crime empire", the game itself has the player start out as a street-level drug dealer in a ghetto. Players are, in every sense of the word, starting at the bottom. So below is a guide on how to quickly and efficiently start gaining a profit.

Buy Product From Your Contact in Drug Dealer Simulator

First, the basics. Once the player has gone through the initial tutorial, the player will immediately want to get back in contact with Eddie to order more drugs. Just go back to the main base, get on the laptop, and put in a drug order on ShadyComm, which serves as this game’s version of the dark web. In later parts of the game, the player will eventually be able to buy more hardcore drugs like ecstasy, but initially, the player will only have access to weed and amphetamine.

But which to buy? And how much? This is up to player preference, but it usually good to have a variety of drugs to offer potential clients while still having some money left over. But to start, it is highly recommended to mostly focus on amphetamine which can be cut with baking soda (more on that later). Then it’s a waiting game. The time for delivery varies depending on the size of the order, but it usually takes Eddie between 30-40 in-game minutes to get the product dropped off. While the player can just use the waiting function to make time go faster, players may also use the waiting time to go exploring or buy additional items from the supermarket.

Only Go Out with What You Need in Drug Dealer Simulator

Now that the player has bought some drugs, it is a good time to go over a very important habit: storing items at the base. Every time a player steps outside is a time they may be searched and apprehended by cops who will, needless to say, not be pleased if they find illicit substances on the player character’s person.

So it is best to avoid that situation altogether by simply leaving all unneeded drugs at home in the small closet. Unless the player is making a drug transaction or just picked up a dead drop, the player should not have drugs in their inventory. Just store them at home until needed.

Lookup Clients in Drug Dealer Simulator

This may seem a bit obvious, but before the player can sell anything they have to find a client who is willing to buy. Just go on the laptop and see who wants drugs. But it is advised to not accept all client requests immediately. Instead, just take note of what they want and how much.

Eddie sometimes drops off in large 10g bags, but some clients will only want 2g, 5g, etc. So the player will have to take the time to actually separate the drugs into smaller batches to meet the consumer’s demand. If the player tries to give them more (or less) than what they requested, the game will simply not allow the transaction to occur. So it is best to just look at the orders and prepare them before promising to fill them.

Buy Some Baking Soda in Drug Dealer Simulator

As soon as the player is able, they should go to the supermarket to buy some baking soda. Why? Because when used at a workstation it can be used to cut amphetamine. That is to say, the player can mix amphetamine with baking soda to artificially increase the amount of product they have. The only drawback is that it decreases the quality. If the quality is poor enough the player may actually lose clients. Also, note that quality expectation rises with how much respect the player has.

But for a beginner, who barely has any respect, this risk is drastically lower. But to be on the safe side, try to ensure the mix is at least 40-50% amphetamine. Some players may be able to get away with a mix that holds a lot less than that, but either way, the increased volume of what the player can sell will likely pay off later when there is more cash at the player’s disposal.

But let’s say that the new mix was too poorly made anyway. That it was of such low quality that no one wants to buy it. While simply disposing of it may be an option, that is just wasting cash. Even though the mix can’t be sold traditionally it still has its uses. For example, the player can use the mix as a free sample to gain a new client. Or it can be mixed with even more amphetamine later to produce a new mix of higher quality.

Alright. So the player has bought some drugs, measured them to the client’s order, and may or may not have cut the amphetamine with baking soda to make some extra cash. Now it’s time to go out and make some sales.

The player can always just do it the quick way which consists of just accepting and completing all accepted orders in one go, but that approach comes with risks. Risks that will only become more prominent and costly later on in the game. Because the player will have a ton of drugs on their person, that also means the penalty for being apprehended or searched by law enforcement is much higher. Get apprehended and the player will basically lose a ton of potential revenue.

Because of this, players may want to get into the habit of completing one or two orders at a time to keep potential losses at a minimum. It may be a hassle to go back and forth between the base and the client several times, but at least if the player gets caught the losses won’t be too bad.
