A new cosplay from @MayaBriefs beautifully captures Dragon Ball's Bulma. Bulma has had a number of stunning outfits, many of which have been frequently cosplayed. This cosplay is from the future, since it is based on the upcoming film, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.
Bulma is the supporting character with the longest existence within the series. She debuted in the very first chapter of Dragon Ball in 1984. She is also Goku's first friend - even if when she first appeared she just wanted to use him as a bodyguard during her search for the legendary dragon balls. Since then, Bulma has become a mainstay character, having a family of her own, and using her intelligence in science and engineering to become an incredibly useful ally throughout the franchise's various series. However, she is also known for having multiple stunning looks.
On Twitter, @MayaBriefs shared her cosplay of Bulma during Dragon Ball Super's Super Hero Saga. It shows her in a Capsule Corporation jumpsuit with her short hair. The background also includes Capsule Corp detailing. The jumpsuit is yellow, layered over a gray long-sleeve shirt. This cosplay is gorgeous and it perfectly captures Bulma's ability to get involved even though she doesn't have Saiyan abilities like Vegeta or Goku.
This cosplay is based on a concept art redesign of Bulma - shared by CBR after the events of New York Comic Con - which is included in @MayaBriefs' Tweet. This concept art is for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the next film in the Dragon Ball franchise. An official release date has not been announced yet. However, that won't stop fans from bringing the characters to life in their newest outfits. Bulma has been a staple character from the beginning of the manga series and her fashion has been very notable. This is still true in the latest Dragon Ball Super redesign. It definitely takes notes from some of Bulma's classic looks, like her yellow Namek suit and baggy orange tracksuit.
The redesign cosplay by @MayaBriefs and the redesign itself include several of the elements that have made Bulma's visual appearances so intriguing. She is a versatile person with a busy life. She is a mom as well as a hands-on scientist and inventor. As she has become busier in her life, her hairstyle has remained rather short. Similarly, she has continued to wear clothes that is functional, yet flattering. Bulma's style is rather unconventional compared to many other female manga characters, but that is exactly what makes her so special - and likely what has allowed her to remain a fixture in the Dragon Ball series for so long. @MayaBriefs' stunning cosplay brings together everything about Bulma that makes the character amazing and fans should be excited to see her in the next Dragon Ball Super adventure.
