It has continued on since then, spinning off with several anime and other manga series, including Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super. Each has featured Goku alongside his friends, family, and rivals. Amano has worked on a few manga, including Shōnen Spin, Monkey Business, Reborn!, eIDLIVE, and Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective. She has also worked on video game projects including Jump Super Stars and J-Stars Victory. However, she is best known for providing character designs on the anime Psycho-Pass.

Goku and Psycho-Pass Cross Paths in New Dragon Ball Cover

Psycho-Pass is a cyberpunk thriller anime series that began airing in 2012 and concluded its first season in 2013. The second season was released in 2014, followed up by a series of films. The show's third season was announced in 2019 with another film coming shortly after. Another film has been announced but has yet to release. The series follows Akane Tsunemori, a police officer who is trying to catch criminals known as Enforcers, particularly one that subverts the Sibyl System, a computer network that evaluates individuals propensity for criminal activity. The series is very different thematically from Dragon Ball, with a very different hero, but Amano's character design work is fantastic and her artistic abilities lend well to this redesign.

Dragon Ball Vol. 4 collects chapters thirty-seven to forty-eight. It is part of one of the many Tenkaichi Budokai tournament arcs to see which fighter is "Strongest Under the Heavens". It includes Yamcha's fight against Kame-Sen'nin in his Jackie Chun disguise, as well as the beginning of Goku's fight against his mentor, which continues into the next volume with the young Saiyan's transformation into his Oozaru form. The cover art for this section of the series does not line up with the events, depicting the series' hero riding on a weaponized vehicle. Dragon Ball has showcased numerous interesting vehicles and this cover is no exception. Psycho-Pass character designer Akira Amano's matching of Toriyama's iconic Dragon Ball style highlights the mangaka's abilities very well.
