Gohan Vs Nappa

The battle against Nappa is still one of the fiercest foes that the Z-Fighters ever faced. The battle saw the death of Chiaotzu, Tien Shinhan, and Piccolo. Had Goku not shown up when he did, both Krillin and Gohan doubtlessly would have succumbed to the Saiyan warrior's might.

However, Gohan still performed admirably against Nappa showcasing his first steps into the path of a fighter. Gohan's strength was one of the greatest when gauged properly, and he was able to land several powerful hits on Nappa. No doubt had Nappa not seen it coming; his Masenko could've done some serious damage.

Gohan Vs Dabura

What has disappointed fans of Gohan time and time again is how he seems to constantly lose his power-ups after some time passes in the series due to a lack of training. The Buu Saga sees the beginning of this repetition and is the reason Gohan struggles so much against Dabura.

The fight is intense with Gohan just barely holding his own against the Demon King. While the fight ended abruptly and appeared as if it could have gone either way, Goku was confident Gohan could win if he got angry enough.

Gohan Vs Frieza

The fight against Frieza takes place on one of the best locations in Dragon Ball, Planet Namek, and it was both fearsome and horrifying. The Emperor of the Universe displayed transformation after transformation as he constantly pushed back the likes of Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, and Piccolo.

While Gohan wasn't near the strength of Vegeta or Piccolo, his rage helped him push past both of them and perform extraordinarily well against Frieza. The punishment he dealt upon Frieza and his rising increase in power made it clear to Frieza that Gohan was indeed a Saiyan.

Gohan Vs Vegeta

The final battle of the Saiyan Saga was against the fearsome Prince of Saiyans. Without the combined might of Goku, Krillin, and Gohan none of them would have been able to overcome Vegeta.

Even though Vegeta had been weakened, he was still the strongest character during the Saiyan Saga, and it was incredibly impressive that Gohan had been able to keep up with him as he had. In the situation, he was the only one that could possibly match and stall Vegeta, and he did. He was also the one that really defeated Vegeta thanks to his Great Ape form.
