It's hard to tell you're looking at a video game when watching this character trailer for Bandai Namco's Dragon Ball FighterZ. Complete with an art design that perfectly mirrors the animation from the Dragon Ball Z anime, the trailer gives fans a look at Vegeta in action, while using his most powerful form to date: Super Saiyan Blue.

The Super Saiyan God form was first accessed by Goku in the movie, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods. The power level was achieved by performing a ritual that involves assembling six Saiyans together. Goku took the form to the next level with Super Saiyan Blue in the sequel, Resurrection F. In a move that surprised many of the characters, Vegeta was able to unlock the Super Saiyan Blue form in a battle with Golden Frieza. The vast increase in power finally allowed him to defeat his hated foe. Vegeta also uses the form in the current Dragon Ball anime series, Dragon Ball Super.

Bandai Namco announced that Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta is officially joining the 2.5D fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ with a character trailer that showcases some of the character's moves. Fans get to see Vegeta unleashing a barrage of attacks on Super Saiyan Blue Goku. We also get to see Vegeta try out some of his most signature moves, including Galick Gun and Final Flash.

Goku and Vegeta were already on the game's roster and playable in their Super Saiyan forms only. Bandai Namco later announced that the Super Saiyan Blue forms for both characters would be available, and could be unlocked early for players who pre-order the game.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ, which was first revealed in June as a game that would feature gameplay mechanics similar to the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise. Developed by Arc System Works, the game allows players to battle using a 3 vs. 3 tag system. FighterZ will also deviate from previous Dragon Ball games by providing players with an entirely new story instead of adapting stories from the anime. Fans will get to play as fan-favorites like Piccolo, Krillin and Yamcha, as well as multiple characters from the Cell Saga, such as Android 16. Each character is designed to have a unique playstyle and moveset.
