Asymmetrical multiplayer title Dragon Ball: The Breakers releases on October 14. Set in the world made famous by the manga and anime, The Breakers is an online multiplayer co-op survival game that pits seven everyday citizens from the Dragon Ball universe against some of Goku’s greatest rivals. To escape or defeat villains like Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu players need to work together using special abilities and items given to them by Trunks and the Time Patrollers. Activating Power Keys, utilizing Dragon Changes, and finding the Dragon Balls are some ways Survivors can prevail against the Raider. The Dead By Daylight-styled Dragon Ball: The Breakers is attempting to jump on the asymmetrical multiplayer trend. Many have already had the chance to try the game in a beta period, but its full release will likely attract many who didn't get the opportunity. Players looking forward to playing can do so on Friday, October 14, but depending on their region and platform, the game may be available at a different time.Related: All Dragon Ball: The Breakers Anime Characters ConfirmedPlayers who participated in either the open beta test or the last-minute trial can receive extra rewards at launch. Dragon Ball: The Breakers is a new perspective for the franchise's games, and in celebration of its launch, a worldwide Twitter campaign was started. If users reach a certain amount of likes and retweets on the corresponding tweets for Dragon Ball: The Breakers, Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, and Dragon Ball Legends accounts, rewards will be given out for each game. The campaign will end on October 19.

Season 2 of Dragon Ball: The Breakers was also already announced, with a new Raider being revealed. The new Raider is Great Ape Vegeta from DBZ's early Saiyan Saga, but the release date of Season 2 has not yet been disclosed. At launch, The Breakers will have Frieza, Cell, and Buu as the first three Raiders. Assuming this counts as Season 1, the second season could potentially have three additional Raiders added as well, though there's nothing to corroborate this speculation so far.
