Winning RuPaul's Drag Race in all of its formats comes down to one thing - impressing RuPaul. And this means being a well-rounded performer who is able to turn the party with incredible dance moves, jaw-dropping looks, and acting skills. As time moves on, the pressure on the queens to come up with brand new ways to impress increases exponentially and gives the audiences gag-worthy moments.

Runways and lip-synchs are the best moments to do the drag equivalent of pulling a rabbit out of a hat. Queens go all out with their tricks to leave RuPaul clapping and cackling for more. With so many great ruveals to choose from, the going gets tough. But let's try and take a look back at the best ones yet, ranked!

Latrice Royale

Latrice Royale is one of the most beloved queens from RuPaul's Drag Race repertoire. After competing in season 4, she came back to try her luck in All Stars 1. But that wasn't enough for Latrice, and fans were lucky to see her again on All Stars 4.

After being eliminated from the latter, Latrice lip-synched against Monique Heart for a chance to come back. The gag came with Miss Royale snatched her blonde wig and revealed a brunette one, perfectly timed to the beat of the song.

Yvie Oddly

Yvie Oddly was the winner of the eleventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race, and rightfully so. Her quirky style always managed to shine on the runway, and even though she wasn't stellar in every challenge, her report card was strong.

But where Yvie shone the most was in the finale. While lip-synching for her crown against Brooke Lynn Hytes, Yvie gave the audience one of the most original reveals of all time, by turning around and revealing...a second head!

Alaska

When Alaska came back to compete in All Stars 2, it was clear from the get-go that she came to win. And win she did, by slaying pretty much every single challenge that was thrown her way.

By the time the queens were tasked to present a two-in-one look on the runway, Alaska brought back Lil' Pound Cake, a character she created back in season 5 and surprised both the judges and the audience alike.

Monét X Change

Monét X Change has often been playfully insulted by her fellow queens due to her love for pussycat wigs. But it's not like they can blame her, since they look so iconic! Monét took it a step further in a way no one saw coming.

When she had to lip-synch against Trinity Taylor for the crown in All Stars 4, she pulled out her blonde pussycat wig...to reveal a shorter, blonder pussycat wig. Iconic, and no wonder it was a double-win!

Monique Heart

Remember the lip-synch where Latrice had her legendary ruveal? Well, that challenge produced more than one snatched wig, and resulted in a double shantay for Monique and Latrice.

While Latrice's moment was incredible, Monique took it a step further with her fan, and, of course, her bright orange wig that left the judges gagging and loving their lives.

Peppermint

Peppermint was part of the iconic top four in season 9, and even though she didn't take home the crown, the makeup, and that bag of money, she still left quite an impression.

While lip-synching for the crown against Trinity Taylor, Peppermint went from a short skirt and a long brunette wig to a gown and a blond pussycat wig in seconds. The crowd cheered so loud it almost broke the arena. Go Peppermint!

Violet Chachki

The winner of season 7 hailed herself as a fashion queen, and when it came to presenting looks on the runway, she killed the competition. And in her case, it was from moment one!

The first mini-challenge of the season had queen showcasing a Spring and a Fall look each. Violet's Fall look consisted of a black jumpsuit that turned into a plaided number that got Carson's jaw hitting the floor of the runway.

Roxxxy Andrews

Roxxxy Andrews will go down in herstory for showcasing the first wig reveal ever. Back in season five, she landed in the bottom alongside fellow queen Alyssa Edwards.

Both had to lip-synch to "I Whip My Hair", and Roxxxy came with a trick. At the perfect time and perfect beat, the queen got rid of her huge brown wig only to reveal an even bigger wig underneath! Even Michelle Visage couldn't keep it together.

Brooke Lynn Hytes

Brooke Lynn Hytes was one of the strongest contestants on season eleven of RuPaul's Drag Race, and made it all the way to the top 4. Her run on the show was top-notch...aside from the Snatch Game.

Hytes knew she bombed the challenge, and decided to give her all on the runway. And boy, did she! Brooke Lynn went from a huge, dark afro and a tunic to a long blonde wig in a moment that left the judges completely speechless.

Sasha Velour

And topping our list is the only one Sasha Velour, winner of season 9, and lip-synch assassin extraordinaire. Sasha had never found herself in the bottom during her season, so when it was time to lip-synch for the crown, no one knew what to expect.

Whatever expectations anyone had, she blew them out of the water with the iconic rose petal reveal underneath the red wig to the sound of "So Emotional". The song was actually a perfect choice since to this day, fans still get emotional thinking about it.
