It's time to have a ball on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 5. Other than the Snatch Game the ball is the most exciting challenge on the show. This is when we see who really has a shot at the crown. After last week's drama between Alexis Mateo and India Ferrah anyone could go home.

Many people have been speculating about whether Alexis or India were lying. At the start of this episode, the queens' consensus is sort of... that is doesn't matter? The tension was thick last week. To wipe the slate clean as they move forward is either a case of too much integrity for reality TV or... very smart game playing! Shea says she was really close to picking Alexis's lipstick last week. If Alexis wins this week we will truly know where she stands. With only 5 girls left, someone has to go. And all of these girls are amazing at making their own lewks... except for Jujubee. But what queen in their right mind would want to send home America's hysterical sweetheart?

This week is finally a sewing challenge! They are throwing a backyard ball. It is so thrilling to finally see what these drag queens are really made of. This is our opportunity to see what they did when they first entered the scene and had to put something together for a bar show. Enough of this NYC designer sweet 16 dress nonsense. Show us that creativity! Shea Coulee was a costume design major in college and she absolutely slayed this challenge in Season 9. Blair St Clair has had a major glow up in the fashion department. She seems very confident. Miz Cracker is also well known for making some cool things herself, but her narrative of always second-guessing herself is making us second-guess whether or not we want to watch her on TV anymore. Alexis Mateo will likely do well. Poor Jujubee is in trouble.

In the Werk Room, the girls start finding notes left around the room by India Ferrah. Jujubee reads the note India left for Alexis Mateo. First Jujubee makes up what is written and it is the funniest two minutes on Drag Race in recent memory. Imagine this season without Jujubee? Actually, don't. This life is depressing enough. She is likely going to blow this challenge, but she is one of the greatest personalities ever on TV. She finally reads what India actually wrote. It was a simple message saying that she still loves Alexis. Alexis is surprised it isn't shadier. Shea says to the camera that she is certain the girls will send her home if she ends up in the bottom. Whether that rumor India spread is true or not, Alexis sure did pick Shea's name to go home week 3! She tried to get rid of Shea. It is very possible that she would do that again.

RuPaul walks through the Werk Room and makes everyone relive their trauma. It's beautiful and raw and very sad! This show uncovers queer stories better than any other piece of media in existence. Hearing gay people talk about their relationships with their parents and surviving this life is such a gift this television program gives us. Shea Coulee opening up about her father being her cheerleader and then losing him and his sister to cancer is so tough, but such a good reminder to embrace all of our cheerleaders. Jujubee and RuPaul relate to each other on a deep level about sobriety saving their lives. It is done with joy and laughter and tears. This just isn't the kind of nuance we get to see in other gay stories. And nothing about this felt produced. This is the Emmy winning TV we love.

This is an entirely different show now that the filler queens are gone. This top 5 has so much to offer and they are so fun and gregarious together. Shea Coulee saying that Jujubee's "dress is conspiring against her" is an absolute gag. This is a special group of queens.

RuPaul brings her family on the runway for this episode. It's so freaking cute. The first assignment on the runway is to create a character that is related to RuPaul. Cracker's first look is a damn mess, but her voice-over is hysterical. This is the first time I truly cackled at Cracker since season 10. The wit is back! Jujubee is hysterical as always. Blair is serving Indiana realness. RuPaul's sisters hate it and they're not alone!! It's bland. She looks like a Drop Dead Gorgeous stand-in, which could be a compliment, but she's more like third-string stand-in. Shea pays tribute to Grandrea, her character from Season 9. It's great. Alexis Mateo slays this first lewk. It is so fun and so out of the box. Her voice-over does not quite land as well though.

The second part of the runway is the lewk they made themselves. Miz Cracker turned this lewk out! The details in her outfit are fantastic. It's very well done. Cracker is showing up big time this episode. Jujubee looks very nice! It is not bad at all for someone who hates this challenge. Blair's lewk is the only disappointment of the night. The colors are great, but the silhouette is all over the place. She looks like Blair out of drag, wearing messy fabric. Shea looks so damn good. What else is new? Alexis Mateo made an unbelievable silhouette out of solo cups and a kiddie pool. We screamed when she came out. This is wildly impressive for someone who used unconventional materials.

During the critiques, almost all of the girls praise Shea for helping them with their outfits. She says, "I think its really important that as queer people we all act as family. If one of us looks good all of us look good". This woman is the queen. She is the person to speak for the queer community. It has been obvious since day one that she deserves to win.

After the critiques, Cracker says that Alexis and Blair are the bottom two in her opinion. The rest of the group seems to agree. Neither of them has won a challenge. The girls deliberate about who should go home and it feels pretty evenly split.

The lip-sync assassin is thick and juicy Roxxxy Andrews! She looks completely stunning and she lip-syncs the hell out of the song. She very clearly wins this lip-sync over Miz Cracker. Roxxxy pulls out the lipstick of the girl the group voted for and it is Alexis Mateo. This does not feel entirely fair after her very exciting runway lewk, but part of this competition is about playing the game and Alexis was confrontational with one two many people, including Miz Cracker who also chose her to go home.

Now that this season is down to the best of the best it is much more exciting. The only thing we still need to see is a Shea Coulee versus Sasha Velour lip sync. Fingers crossed for next Friday at 8pm ET on VH1.
