The two dated during the first season of Double Shot at Love. Maria was one of the few girls that returned for season 2. She and Vinny were later rumored to have gotten back together for a short period of time.
Vinny recently wrapped up filming the third season of Double Shot at Love. He and Pauly headed to Arizona to film inside a Covid-19 bubble. Since Pauly was in fact successful in finding love on the show, the new season will focus around finding love for Vinny. Pauly's girlfriend Nikki Hall, whom he met on the show as well, will also be returning for the third season. She and Pauly will set out to help Vinny find his perfect match.
Although Maria was not amongst the 16 rumored girls competing on Double Shot at Love to win over Vinny's heart in the new season of the show, Vinny may still have some feelings for her. The self-proclaimed Keto Guido was caught flirting with his ex on Instagram on Friday. Maria posted a short video to her Instagram account. The vintage-themed clip showed off her unique makeup look. She captioned the post, "Groovy baby." Not long after sharing the video, Vinny was found in the comment section flirting with his former co-star. Whether he was joking or not, fans could not believe Vinny said this, especially considering he just wrapped up filming his new season of Double Shot at Love, during which he was suppose to find a girlfriend. Many Reddit users were in agreement that Vinny only left this comment for attention. One user explained, "If he wanted to be with her they would be together." For leaving this comment, Vinny was called both "embarrassing" and a "troll." They fear for the girl he could potentially be dating from the recent season. On the other hand, some users claimed that Vinny and Maria are actually good friends who tend to joke around like this quite often. Vinny's Jersey Shore co-star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi did in fact recently claim that Vinny was not actually looking for a girlfriend despite filming the show. This claim came after she and best friend Jenni "JWoww" Farley had flown out to Arizona to film a cameo appearance for the show.
Despite Vinny's recent flirtatious comment on Maria's post, his relationship status remains unknown. Although he, Pauly and Nikki have already finished filming the upcoming season, a premiere date has not yet been announced for Double Shot at Love season 3.
