MTV has confirmed that Pauly D and Vinny Guadagnino will return for season 3 of Double Shot at Love. This time around, the best-friend duo will work to find a love interest for Vinny. Pauly and Vinny first came together on a search for love in 2019. Although they had some strong connections with a few of the ladies on the show, both Pauly and Vinny ultimately ended the season still single. One year later, they reunited with a few of their exes in Vegas for season 2 of the show.
Amongst the returning ladies was Nikki Hall, who had the strongest connection with Pauly during the first season. Both viewers and Nikki were shocked when Pauly rejected her to remain single during the season finale. Throughout the second season, Pauly and Nikki worked through their issues to better their relationship. The two remained in contact after they had finished filming the season. Nikki ended up quarantining with Pauly in his Vegas home last March. They have been together ever since.
Now that Pauly and Nikki are finally together and getting serious, it is time to find a girlfriend for Vinny. MTV confirmed that both Pauly and Vinny will be returning for a third season of Double Shot at Love. Similar to the recent season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, the upcoming season of Double Shot at Love will most likely be filmed in a Covid-bubble, in an effort to keep both the cast and production safe. Now that Pauly is taken, he and his new girlfriend Nikki will help Vinny find a love similar to theirs. Knowing first-hand how to find love on the show, Pauly and Nikki will offer their best advice to Vinny throughout the process.
Both Vinny and Pauly shared their excitement for the new season on Instagram. Vinny is the last remaining Jersey Shore roommate to still be single. After filming season 2 of Double Shot at Love, Vinny was rumored to be dating Maria Elizondo from the show; however, their romance was short lived. Since then, Vinny has not been in any public relationships. Many fans actually think Vinny would be better off dating his fellow roommate Angelina Pivarnick. Despite Angelina being married, viewers feel their love hate relationship stems from their hidden feelings for each other.
As Pauly and Nikki set out to help Vinny find a girlfriend, season 3 of Double Shot at Love will feature an entirely new cast of ladies. Nikki may be the only one of the original cast members to be returning to the show. The details of the new season such as when and where it will be filmed remain unknown; however, filming should be taking place sometime soon as the season is set to air later this year.
