Former contestants of A Double Shot at Love recently slammed the show's stars, "Pauly D" DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino, calling the show out for being "fake." The women even shared private messages Pauly D sent after the show ended to back up their claims.

On A Double Shot at Love with DJ Pauly D & Vinny - a low-budget Bachelor-style dating show in which 20 women compete to be the reality TV stars' girlfriends - the two BFFs finally picked the contestants they wanted to date. However, in the process, they had to send home a lot of women. Now, those former cast members are speaking out about what actually went down in the mansion and why they feel betrayed by the TV personalities.

In the Double Shot at Love finale, Vinny chose 24-year-old Alysse Joyner, and in a surprise turn of events, Pauly D chose himself. He told Hall, the remaining contestant, “I’m rolling solo for now." Shortly after the final episode of the season aired, Hall, Erazo, and Baidya - during an appearance on AfterBuzz TV after the show - said Vinny and Pauly D were "fake" while filming the show and that they were playing the girls in the house. Then, they took things a step further when they shared actual text messages Pauly D sent Hall after the show ended. Following her elimination, Hall said Pauly D told her he "made a mistake." She also admitted the format of the show is fake and that the two spoke "every day up, up until the first episode aired."

Hall also claims she gave Pauly D Joyner's number, which he then passed on to Vinny, meaning the connections were already pre-planned before filming began. Erazo confirms, "It was just all fake." Hall continued to say she'd like an apology from Pauly D, saying "You basically dumped me on TV, hit me up low-key the next day, and carried on this whole thing up until the first episode and then completely ghosted me, blocked me, and then came up with some bullsh*t." The women then talked about how all of the contestants felt "played."

Hall said it was especially hurtful because there were "families involved;" the women met Vinny and Pauly D's families and friends on the show. She said, "If you didn't really care to get too deep in the process, then why sign up for it? Why commit to it?" However, despite the dramatic last episode and feeling betrayed by the reality TV stars, in the end, none of the women regret going on the show. Baidya called it a "life-changing experience," and Erazo said she met some of the most "amazing women." And even though Hall felt burnt by Pauly D, even she said she has "no regrets."

Vinny and Pauly D may be done with A Double Shot at Love - with one of them being more successful at finding a relationship than the other - but the pair will soon appear on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. In a recent trailer for the upcoming season, the New Jersey natives can be seen supporting their friends through weddings, divorces, and even prison sentences. But, for now, since no one at the Double Shot mansion made the cut for Pauly D, he will remain on the market.
