A first look photo from Dollface season 2 shows Lilly Singh in her upcoming role on the show. Season 1 of Hulu's absurdist rom-com followed Jules (Kat Dennings) as she struggles to rehabilitate her neglected friendships with women following a breakup. Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell, and Esther Povitsky co-star as the girl group that Jules eventually forms over the course of the season.

TV Line has revealed a new Dollface season 2 photo featuring the usual gang plus another character, played by social media personality Lilly Singh. Singh will appear as Liv, Stella's (Mitchell) love interest and professional partner. Stella, a free-spirited It Girl with a newfound passion for business, will get involved with Liv's bar in season 2. Singh began her career as a YouTube video creator and has since toured internationally, published a book, and recently hosted the late-night talk show A Little Late with Lilly Singh.

Much like Girls' Jessa Johansson, season 1 Stella hops from one fabulous adventure to the next, all while looking amazing and acting effortlessly cool. Her character serves as a comedic contrast to the others in the group, all of whom are (to varying degrees) more high-strung (Madison), less fun (Jules), or less charismatic (Izzy). Stella's natural magnetism makes her friends' respective deficiencies seem all the more amusing by comparison. Despite the go-with-the-flow attitude she presents, Stella reveals that she wants more out of life than a string of parties, a motivation that will both drive and test her in season 2.

Dollface Season 2

Coming up in season 2 of DollfaceIzzy (Povitsky) will meet a new guy, played by Good Trouble's Jayson Blair (who's appeared on 2 Broke Girls alongside Dennings). Corinne Foxx plays a big-time music executive's daughter and old acquaintance who returns to befriend Madison. Luke Cook, a.k.a. Lucifer Morningstar from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, will guest star. It was announced in October that comedian Owen Thiele has been cast as a Gen Z employee at the Goop-inspired company Jules and Izzy work at.
