Doctor Who and Squid Game both have plenty of fans, and the subject of which Doctor Who villains could win the games sparks a fun conversation. The games require physical skills, mental skills, and even plain old luck.

Some villains wouldn't do well because of their abilities. Others would be great at some games and not so much at others. And certain villains would dominate every game they played. These hypothetical games could be against the regular players or against other Doctor Who villains.

Vashta Nerada

Vashta Nerada coming out of the shadows in Doctor Who

The Vashta Nerada are deadly, microscopic creatures who will eat a person to the bone. They operate in shadows. In Squid Game, they could certainly take care of a few players when the lights go out at night. But considering that the games take place almost entirely in daylight or lights, they wouldn't have much of a chance to advance. Plus, they'd have to take control of a dead body to play the games, and that might be against the rules.

When the players in Squid Game attacked each other at lights out, the guards let them continue for a short time. But eventually, the lights go on, and the guards come in with coffins. The Vashta Nerada are also harmless individually, so if one was a single player in the games, it would do no harm at all.

Daleks

An artistic shot of the Daleks from Doctor Who

The Daleks appear all the time in Doctor Who, perhaps even too much if certain unpopular Doctor Who opinions are to be believed. But regardless, Daleks are the Doctor's deadliest enemies. If Squid Game just consisted of the final round, a Dalek would wipe the floor with any opponent. But the games aren't entirely physical, putting the Daleks at a disadvantage.

A Dalek would do horribly at dalgona and marbles (unless it was guessing even or odd). They'd probably do fine at red light, green light and tug of war. And their flying ability would help them with the glass tiles. But a player has to be able to succeed at every game to win, and the Daleks wouldn't be able to do so.

Cybermen

Redesigned Cybermen from Nightmare in Silver, from Doctor Who

The Cybermen are one of Doctor Who's best monsters. They could excel at tug of war and squid game. They could also fair well at red light, green light, and they could do the glass tile game if the glass is strong enough for them.

A Cyberman might go either way in marbles. Throwing them might not go well, but they could guess even and odd. But their biggest hangup would be dalgona. The Cybermen do not have small or delicate fingers, and they'd likely snap their dalgona right after picking it up.

Gas Mask Zombies

The gas mask in Doctor Who

The Gas Mask Zombies are fully capable of playing every game. They would also turn any player they touch into one of them, and that would give them allies for certain games.

Their big flaw is that they're always looking for their mommy, which would likely distract them in every game they play. Considering the concentration every game takes would make the Zombies lose unless they somehow thought their mommy was the goal of each game.

Weeping Angels

Doctor Who Season 13 Weeping Angels

Getting the obvious out of the way, the Weeping Angels would destroy the competition in red light, green light. The robot would never see them moving because they can't move when anything looks at them. There is the chance they'd be looked at by other players, but the players are too concerned with themselves to watch the Angels. They'd also be the perfect anchor for tug of war, and no one's moving a statue that won't move while they look at it.

The Angels rank in the middle of the pack for how good they'd be at those two games, but their dominance would end there. Every other game requires movement while being looked at, which means they'd fail. They also wouldn't see where players go on the glass tiles, as they mostly cover their faces when frozen.

Davros

Davros leads the Daleks, and his armor shell around his lower half would result in the same outcomes in the games as the Daleks. But Davros is smarter, and the use of his actual hands would mean more success in dalgona and marbles. He may need to learn more things about dalgona, though.

Davros' one flaw would be that he didn't always receive respect from the Daleks, which may mean he wouldn't find allies in the games. Allies wouldn't be necessary for every game, but they certainly don't hurt to have.

Sontarans

A Sontaran in Doctor Who Season 13

Sontarans are incredible warriors and great at strategy, so they would excel throughout Squid Game. They would easily see each game as a form of war, and war is what Sontarans believe in.

The Sontarans are not always the smartest of beings, so that would hinder them in the games. Sontarans also have a sense of honor, so they likely wouldn't do any of the backstabbings many of the players use. This might not hurt them overall, but it is a notable trait that could affect their playing.

The Master

The Master-Doctor Who-BBC

The many variations of the Master make him/her a huge enemy of the Doctor. The Master has every physical and mental skill necessary to win each game, and being smart in Squid Game is important. There really aren't any notable flaws that would keep the Master from winning. The Master doesn't work well with others, so tug of war may be the one questionable game, but it wouldn't be too much of an issue.

While the Master's cunning and knowledge would take them far, the only question is if anyone else is better. They have a real shot at winning it all, but they may have trouble against a couple of other Doctor Who villains.

Zygons

Zygon Doctor Who

Zygons aren't that nice to look at, but it's their ability that counts. The Zygons can turn into anyone. This means they could choose whoever they need to be for each game, and that would put them at their best each time.

Some games require luck, most notably the order the players are put in for the glass tiles. In cases of luck, the Zygons would have the same chances as anyone else. But they would be strong contenders throughout each challenge.

The Silence

The Silence looking threatening in Doctor Who

The Silence would take Squid Game quicker than any other villain. This isn't because of their physical abilities or their cunning, it just comes down to one reason. People forget about the Silence as soon as they look away from them.

The Silence could avoid detection in red light, green light. It could steal another dalgona if theirs broke, and no one would know. No one behind them would likely advance on the glass tiles, but they'd completely forget which tiles the Silence stepped on before them. The only probably would be if any else even remembered the Silence winning. But the number of cameras in the games would take care of that.
