Warning: contains spoilers for Strange #3!

Marvel's Doctor Strange is dead and his ex-wife Clea has taken on his many magical duties, but a horrendously easy-to-exploit weakness could spell her downfall. Marvel's many masters of magic pale in comparison to the power of the Sorcerer Supreme's major love interest, who is not human and possesses knowledge that even Strange himself does not. However, she also possesses a weakness that Strange does not, and in Strange #3, readers realize this sorcerer has a truly awful blind spot.

In current Marvel Comics continuity, Doctor Strange was murdered by Baron Mordo and Kaecilius working together. An earlier version of Strange, created by the Sorcerer Supreme as a contingency plan in the event of his death, appeared at the Sanctum Sanctorum and investigated his own murder, fighting supernatural entities while also navigating the mysterious world of the present day (the younger Strange doesn't even remember his time with the Avengers). Strange was resurrected, his past self died, and his present self died again, making Doctor Strange the only Marvel character to die three times in his own event.

With Strange dead, Clea moved into the Sanctum Sanctorum and assumed the duties of the Sorcerer Supreme - even though she has yet to officially earn the title. She's beset by many new enemies, and in Strange #3, written by Jed MacKay with art by Marcelo Ferreira, she flies into battle against the Blasphemy Cartel, her new villains for the series that use a mixture of magic and technology. She makes quick work of the "Nobodies" (foot soldiers of the Cartel), but stumbles onto exactly what they were guarding: racks of servers.

Later that night at the Sanctum Sanctorum, Clea discusses the find with Wong (who is not the Sorcerer Supreme in the comics, unlike in the MCU). "Not something I could make any sense of," admits Clea "So I threw them all into Stephen's Sanctum Machina for now." Clea is actively admitting she knows very little about computers, and has little patience for machines in the first place. It speaks to her arrogance; if she doesn't know or can't understand something, she decides it's not worth understanding. Seeing as the Blasphemy Cartel uses technology and magic interchangeably, this is easily Clea's biggest weakness.

It remains to be seen exactly why the Cartel was guarding server racks or their true purpose. Clea knows anything guarded by her enemies is important, but doesn't appear to be interested in why. Clea's goal, as she's stated before, is to resurrect Doctor Strange; the fact that she makes this action a priority before her other duties means she is perhaps ill-suited to become the true Sorcerer Supreme.
