Warning: This article contains spoilers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

There are innumerable superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who save the Earth and other planets from various threats. As always, the latest flick from the MCUDoctor Strange In The Multiverse of Madness, is also packed with such fearless characters.

The movie added a level of interest since some characters were actually variants of known people but from other universes. Some characters were familiar, some were new, and some showed a completely different side like Wanda did. Ultimately, most of these had one common quality, which was bravery.

Mordo Supreme

Baron Mordo smiles in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Mordo Supreme is the variant of Karl Mordo from Earth-838. He is the Sorcerer Supreme in this universe since Doctor Strange has died. He is similar to the Mordo fans know from the first movie as he is a stickler for rules and wants everyone to abide by the rules even if it kills them.

Since he is the Sorcerer Supreme and a member of the Illuminati, there is no doubt that he is brave. However, viewers didn't get to see much of that in the film. He fought with Stephen Strange valiantly and wanted to uphold what he believed in, no matter what.

Dark Strange

Dark Strange is a variant of Stephen Strange who got corrupted by Darkhold's power and got his entire universe destroyed. Due to that, he has become incredibly evil and he ultimately got killed by Stephen.

Viewers can say that he is brave in that after losing everything, he is still standing strong and fighting. He showed courage when he fought with Doctor Strange even if it was in defeat and even if he was evil.

Defender Strange

Defender Strange is the Doctor Strange variant that America Chavez was first shown with. He is not particularly bad, but he showed a willingness to harm anyone to save the universe. He was America's friend, but still, he was about to kill her to extract her powers.

However, before that moment, he was fighting courageously against the creatures sent by Wanda and also protecting America simultaneously. From the little viewers saw of him, it is safe to say that there is no doubt that Defender Strange was extremely brave.

Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness

Scarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff became an incredibly powerful being in this movie and her power knew no bounds. She truly became the Scarlet Witch and the way she fights and defeats everyone speaks of her bravery.

She faces the might of the greatest protectors in numerous universes, but still, she doesn't get overwhelmed and fights them all with courage. She defeats most of the sorcerers in Kamar-Taj and kills all members of the Illuminati who are all exceedingly powerful. Longtime MCU fans know she has been brave since pretty much her first appearance.

Professor Charles Xavier

Patrick Stewart Makes Perfect Joke About Doctor Strange 2 Premiere

Professor Charles Xavier, played by Patrick Stewart, is probably the biggest cameo in the film. The X-Men character is the only member of the Illuminati who believes in Stephen Strange, thus he is as wise as fans would expect him to be.

Wanda kills the Illuminati members one by one and after she kills Captain Marvel, Charles comes to fight against her. He is much more courageous in this MCU film than in the X-Men movies where he acts more as a guide to the other mutants. Here, he tries to defeat the Scarlet Witch by freeing the alternate Wanda that is entrapped in her own mind. Even though he fails and dies, he showed immense bravery.

Christine Palmer (Earth-838)

Christine Palmer from Earth-838 is incredibly brave, considering she is only a human with no special powers or skills. She is a scientist in this universe and her Stephen went dark. However, Christine still trusts the regular Stephen Strange in the film and they had one of the best relationships in Multiverse of Madness.

When he uses the Darkhold to possess a corpse, she is there to ground him instead of getting scared and running away. She is not afraid of the fact that this Stephen may go dark and harm her. This demonstrates how courageous she is and she proves to be a real asset to Stephen in controlling the dark souls.

Captain Carter

Peggy Carter was seen as Captain Carter and gave a live-action verse of the role fans recently saw in What If. One of her best qualities is her bravery, which was not lacking at all during her short cameo in Multiverse of Madness.

Peggy faces Scarlet Witch in the film and there was no doubt that she didn't stand a chance against her. However, she gave it her all and she was brilliant. Unfortunately, Wanda kills her using her own shield but she is arguably the most memorable cameo in the film because of the courage she displayed.

Wong

Wong is one of the most beloved characters in the Doctor Strange fandom. In fact, many argue that Wong and Doctor Strange have the best MCU friendship. Wong is the Sorcerer Supreme at present time and the viewers see him donning the role in detail for the first time in Multiverse of Madness.

Even though he got the position because Doctor Strange was blipped for five years, he is still deserving of the honor. Wong fights Scarlet Witch fearlessly and even though Wanda once pushes him off the cliff, he still survives and gets back to the top of the mountain. He was also about to give up his life in trying to burn the Book of the Damned when Sara stops him and does it herself, showing that he would risk it all.

America Chavez

America Chavez may be only a teenager, but she is unbelievably brave. America has the power to open the portal to other universes in the multiverse and she has no other variant in the entire multiverse. She has had a tough life, losing her mothers when she was only a child.

Still, she is strong and she doesn't give up no matter what happens. She always tends to escape and save herself no matter who she is up against. In the end, she displays an extreme amount of courage when after being motivated by Stephen, she stands up against Wanda and uses her emotions against her. This could have led to her death, but still, she managed to defeat her. Due to this, America Chavez is the bravest alternate-reality character in the film.

Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Stephen

Stephen Strange was constantly bold and daring throughout Multiverse of Madness. He kept fighting to save the multiverse no matter what, proving he is truly the best sorcerer out there. His best quality is that he never gives up and always searches for a way to win.

Stephen fights against Wanda's creatures and against Wanda herself. He defeats Mordo's variant while he was handcuffed and his own much darker variant, Dark Strange. His most courageous moment in the movie, however, was when he was possessing the body of his variant's corpse using the Darkhold. Instead of giving in to the Darkhold and to the dark souls, he used them for good and didn't let them turn him evil.
