One of the wrap gifts for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness reveals America Chavez's MCU symbol, as well as that for Scarlet Witch. Benedict Cumberbatch's second solo outing as Dr. Stephen Strange is shaping up to be a defining one for the MCU as the franchise moves into a brand new saga. As is already evident from the title, Doctor Strange 2 will dive head first into the multiverse, and according to star Elizabeth Olsen, it's Marvel's scariest movie yet. That isn't too surprising when one remembers The Evil Dead director Sam Raimi is behind the camera.

So far, plot specifics for Doctor Strange 2 beyond the multiverse slant are still being kept under wraps. However, the movie has already assembled an exciting cast list. In addition to returning Doctor Strange stars like Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Rachel McAdams, the 2022 sequel will include Olsen's Scarlet Witch and The Baby-Sitter's Club actress Xochitl Gomez as Young Avengers member America Chavez. Reports also indicate Tom Hiddleston will appear as Loki, though that has yet to be confirmed.

Production on Doctor Strange 2 wrapped earlier this year, and the gifts handed out to the cast and crew have been revealed online. While a print shared back in June revealed things like Scarlet Witch's new costume and the return of the Eye of Agamotto, a picture of a wrap hat (via SanctumBlog) offers some new details. In addition to depicting a trippy Vishanti symbol, the hat shows the new logos for America and Scarlet Witch. Check it out below.

America's symbol is particularly fitting, as it matches her ability to create star-shaped portals. The Doctor Strange 2 wrap art showed Stephen, Scarlet Witch, America, and Wong all traveling through one of America's portals, so it seems likely that the movie will make extensive use of them. Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch are two of the MCU's most powerful magic-users (if not the most powerful), and having a younger hero like America team up alongside them should make for some exciting displays of power.

There are still several MCU movies on the release calendar before Doctor Strange 2, so it will unfortunately be a while before more official looks at the film arrive. Following the explosive multiverse reveals of the Loki season finale, there's a great deal of excitement now surrounding the movie. If the wrap gifts have hinted anything about Doctor Strange 2, it's that it will be a magical film with a thrilling group of characters at its center. That's definitely something to look forward to.
