New fan art imagines what Adam Driver could look like as Doctor Doom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ever since Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox, the Fantastic Four's arrival into the MCU has been inevitable. John Krasinski cameoed as Reed Richards in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, though it appears unlikely he will continue playing the character. Also on the front of fans' minds has been Reed Richards and the Fantastic Four's archenemy, Victor Von Doom. The supervillain has appeared before in Fox's Fantastic Four movies, played by Julian McMahon and Toby Kebbell.

In 2019, Marvel Studios announced that a Fantastic Four movie was in development. The project initially hired Spider-Man's Jon Watts as director who then exited and was replaced by WandaVision's Matt Shakman with Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer penning the script. The movie, which isn't set to hit theaters until 2025, has yet to make any official announcements regarding casting decisions. Earlier this year, Howard Stern suggested he was playing Doctor Doom in the MCU. There have also been rumors that Adam Driver has met Marvel Studios, with fans hoping it was to discuss playing the iconic Fantastic Four villain.

Now, amidst all the casting rumors, some exciting new fan art is imagining what Driver might look like as Doctor Doom. Would Adam Driver Be A Good Fit for MCU's Doctor Doom?

Star Wars Kylo Ren

For those who didn't already believe Driver would be a great fit for the MCU's Doctor Doom, this fan art should convince them, giving audiences just a small taste of what his take on the character could be like. Driver is already best known for playing a beloved and complex villain, Kylo Ren, in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, and should have no problem sinking into another one like Doctor Doom. At 6 feet 2 inches tall with a muscular build, Driver undoubtedly has the physique to play a physically imposing Doctor Doom, coupled with all the intangibles that make him a great thespian.

Driver is among the most acclaimed actors working today and the MCU would be lucky to have him sign on for any role. Outside of franchise fare like Star Wars, Driver has recently turned in Academy Award-nominated performances in BlacKkKlansman and Marriage Story. He's currently filming Michael Mann's Ferrari movie and has Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis lined up next. After that, Driver's dance card is seemingly wide open, so it helps that the MCU's Fantastic Four movie isn't scheduled to release until 2025. Although Doctor Doom could appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before then, it will be interesting to see who ends up playing him.
