The final three episodes of Harry & Meghan have just premiered and left many wondering about the relationship between Prince Harry and Prince Williams following the Sandringham drama. The incident took place in 2020, however, the fallout from this incident still continues to plague Harry’s relationship with the rest of his family. This event was only just one in a string of controversies that have plagued both the royal family and the Duke and Duchess.

What Was Discussed At The Sandringham Summit?
Although the British royal family often holds events at Sandringham Estate, this summit was called after January 2020 - when Harry and Meghan had released a statement that expressed their intention to take a step back from their duties as royal family members - to discuss how this would unfold. In Harry & Meghan, Harry would later remark that the royal family waited until Meghan had returned to Canada before calling the meeting, meaning Harry attended the meeting without her there. Topics during the discussion included various aspects of the Duke and Duchess’s relationship, such as how Meghan and Harry would make their living and where they would reside.
It was mentioned in the show that he was presented with options about how he could proceed with his relationship to the royal family. These reportedly essentially amounted to either being “all in, no change” or “all out.” Harry would go on to state, "It became very clear very quickly that that goal was not up for discussion or debate," after his offer for a compromise between the options was rejected. Things quickly became heated and cumulated with Prince William allegedly screaming angrily, with Harry stating, "it was terrifying to have my brother scream and shout at me, and my father says things that simply weren't true.”

The lack of compromise reached during the Sandringham summit would only serve to further strain the relationship between the two brothers. Although the royal family has declined to watch the controversial Netflix series, it is likely William will hear about the allegations his brother made against him. This will make it much harder for the two to reconcile.
