Watching things explode in Division 2 is especially true in Operation Iron Horse and nowhere is that more clear than the fight against Colonel Morozova. This confrontation is the last one in the raid, and for the most part, one of the easiest. Most of it revolves around where to position the team to stay away from harm while the tank does most of the work. A couple of healers are needed for this encounter along with some fancy feet that will get players through this battle.

Compared to the previous bosses like Fieser and Williams, Morozova is all about rinsing and repeating the patterns to be successful. The more crucial elements will be taking care of the snipers, knowing when to be in cover, and when to do damage to the boss. Before going into the final area, when the door opens to get to the outside, take a moment to survey the field to locate optimal points of cover. The focus for the team should be on eliminating the NPCs swarming the field, and anything coming from the Earthshaker turret area including Boomers, and the snipers.

Dealing with the Earthshaker in Division 2

Division 2 Earthshaker Getting Stopped

After running out to meet the Earthshaker cannon on the train, teams split in two with one healer per sub-group. These healers need to keep everyone alive long enough for the tank to collect the keys that the Boomers drop. The position for each team will be one at the far end of where the team enters the battle, and the other team is going to take a right turn from the entrance and hunker down amidst the cover. When the teams take up their positions, they will focus on killing any snipers that pop up from the turrets on the left and right side of the Earthshaker and also having one or two players focused on the enemy spawn points. The front of the Earthshaker train will have spawn points on the left and right for the Boomers, and when they come out, they need to be killed immediately. When they are dead, the tank will get the key he drops and brings it to the massive machine gun on the left side of where the team enters the battle, and it can crush the train turrets. The NPCs will drop RPGs that will be used on missiles that are red on the top middle area of the train to blow them up and prevent the team from going down. Throughout the final boss round, the machine gun turret will spray either the left or right side of the area, but if the players are at the cover positions mentioned above, they shouldn't take too much damage. When the last of the smaller train turrets explode, the team needs to run to the area directly at the center of the train and line up in single file behind the tank to avoid the mortar shells dropping in. The machine gun at the back will also spray the field, and staying in this single file is the only way to stay alive. The healers have to focus on keeping the tank up, and once the bullets stop flying, each team has to head back to their spots, or else an electric shock will come from the train and kill the group.

Killing Colonel Morozova in Division 2

Division 2 Heavy Machine Gun

After the smaller train turrets go down, everyone needs to say hello to the boss with bullets, and not just the tank that's been keeping her attention during all this time. At this phase of the battle, the tank needs to take the aggro of the boss whenever possible even more so while other players get out of the way of her red eye, similar to the Boomer fight in Dark Hours. If players get the red colored eye, Morozova will attempt to launch a rocket at the player to kill them, but she can be interrupted with an RPG blast. Players with the eye must not engage her and leave her for the tank. Do enough damage to her to make her immune, and once she's is, the group heads to the front of the Earthshaker, and takes cover with everyone lining up behind the tank once again. Rinse and repeat this phase, to take her down, but beware because the phase with the four turrets returns, and needs to be done again. Clear both at the same time and welcome to the Iron Horse completion party.
