The Division 2's first raid details have leaked thanks to the datamining efforts of a Reddit user over this past weekend, unveiling our first look at what the Dark Hours endgame content might look like. Although the leak doesn't manage to uncover the full layout of Dark Hours, it has spoiled what many believe to be raid objectives, alongside the raid's location.

The Division 2 has been widely praised so far as a worthy and improved successor to The Division 1, a game that had several bright spots snuffed out by a terrible endgame and some unpopular design decisions. Developer Massive Entertainment clearly learned from those experiences, though, and has brought a refined touch to The Division 2 at launch that many sprawling, online titles tend to lack. That's been helped by the fact that, after the bar was lowered by Anthem's poor releaseThe Division 2 being a functional and fun game has seemingly made it feel revolutionary for its genre.

The Division 2's endgame leak comes courtesy of a user named Kevindavid40, who dug through the game's files over the weekend to uncover the first details regarding Dark Hours. The raid appears set to take place on Arlington Island, and players will need to cross the Arlington Memorial Bridge to find it. More importantly, though, the user was able to datamine what they believe to be the game's first raid objectives. If nothing else, The Division 2's raids appear to be much more complex and detailed compared to the other group activities Agents experience over the course of the game. Here's the list of objectives:

  • Survive the assault on the bridge
  • Find the stolen GPS coordinates
  • Protect the named agent on your team
  • Confirm the kill of 2nd hand Lieutenant
  • Rendezvous with your team
  • Survive the blackout attack
  • Find the activation code
  • Extract your team to safety
  • Split teams and flank the target
  • Stop the convoy from leaving the runway
  • Takeout bombardiers from high ground

The datamining also uncovered a reference to a mission called Nighthawk, which seemingly will be unlocked during the raid at some point. Finally, players got a glimpse of what the raid's achievements would look like. One of the achievements is related to crossing the bridge that takes players to the raid in under an hour, which should be a solid indicator of just how long the entire raid should take. Here's the list of achievements:

  • Relentless - make it through the bridge in one hour or less
  • Extreme Measures - have your most kills with Signature weapons
  • Reminder of Me - kill any of the Hunters who killed you before
  • Gone Baby Gone - in less than two minutes flee from Interceptors

Of course, as we've learned with the Apex Legends datamining leaks, players need to take this information with a grain of salt currently. There's a chance the data is left over from previous iterations of the raid's structure, or that these achievements are related to a different raid planned further in the future. If even most of the details are accurate, though, it appears The Division 2 will have meaningful and lengthy endgame content that could be some of the most difficult or coordinated in the genre.
