Disney Channel stars turned out in force over Mother's Day weekend for Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest. Taking place at Disneyland, guests were treated to the sight of many familiar Disney Channel stars  appearing in a cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A., followed by panel discussions and fan meet and greets with Disney Channel stars at Disney California Adventure Park.

The line-up included stars from Disney Channel series Andi Mack, Raven's Home, Stuck in the Middle, Bizaardvark and BUNK'D, as well as stars from Disney Channel Original Movies ZOMBIES and Freaky Friday. The Fan Fest was rounded out with DuckTales Live; a script performance (table read) by the voice cast stars of DuckTales, including David Tennant and Bobby Moynihan. Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest serves as the perfect thank you for fans of the channel; the house of mouse has delivered a strong lineup of original shows in recent months, including the That's So Raven spinoff, Raven's Home, which has united young newcomers to the franchise with their parents, who remember the original. Their original movie line remains strong, too, with ZOMBIES proving popular, and lots of buzz already circulating around the release of Freaky Friday, set to arrive on the channel this June.

Shows such as Andi Mack and Stuck in the Middle have also delivered across a broad age range, with diverse and engaging storylines that reflect modern life, as well as plenty of humor that's applicable to their young audience and adults alike. But it's perhaps DuckTales that's really brought families together. A firm fan favorite for many years, the reboot of DuckTales on the Disney Channel has proven to be a huge success. With new episodes about too be released, the voice cast, including Tennant as Scrooge McDuck, were a big hit with guests at the Fan Fest. The new episodes will see Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) make his debut as Gizmoduck, as well as Michael Chiklis (Gotham) as Zeus.

DuckTales extended cast includes many familiar actors, including Danny Pudi (Community), Ben Schwartz (Parks and Rec), Bobby Moynihan (SNL), and Kate Miccuci (Garfunkel and Oates) as Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby. The reboot offers a new animation style that gives the series a distinct look, but the essence of the show; namely the humorous and heartfelt storylines, remains the same. Of course, the famous theme song remains in place, albeit with updated vocals.
