However, a popular trope that has come with Disney's Princesses is to give them companions and sidekicks throughout the movies.

These characters are often on hand to provide a lot of humor, which leads to them being tons of fun within the movie as they end up being memorable parts of the story. But out of all the Disney Princess sidekicks, who is the most likable? Is it Pascal with his silent humor, or Mushu and his sheer charisma that wins the day?

Hei-Hei

Hei-Hei is one of the newest Disney sidekicks, with this character being the sidekick for Moana. Hei-Hei doesn't talk, like a lot of other Disney sidekicks, which means that his individual personality isn't showcased in as much detail as others.

However, Hei-Hei is one of the most loyal sidekicks, always being by Moana's side throughout her adventure, despite attempts for him to have stayed at home. He's not an intelligent character, but that brings a lot of fantastic comedy with it, which helps make him very likable.

Gus Gus

He might not talk throughout Tangled, but it's always clear what Pascal is thinking and that helps to make him such a great character. Ray literally puts his life on the line for his friends, proving what type of person he is, and it is that which makes him such a likable character. While he brings a lot of focus on love and romance, he is also quirky and funny too, which makes him such a great character.

Mushu

While there are times when Mushu can be a little blunt, he is one of the greatest characters in Mulan, and someone who brings a ton of energy to the movie. Overall, the tone of the story is quite serious, and having the comedic addition of Mushu makes a big impact.

He brings tons of charisma and excitement. It also becomes clear that he deeply cares about Mulan and is willing to help her throughout the journey. Mushu does a lot for her throughout the movie, and he does everything in his power to make sure she doesn't get caught out.

Lumiere

Lumiere is a character that is full of charm and passion, putting everything into whatever he does. His role is to be the host, wanting to make life as comfortable and nice as possible for Belle and it's one that he thrives in throughout the movie.

Olaf
