John Smith - Ariel

John Smith - Ariel

Ariel is always longing to see what life is like beyond the sea, and while she settles for Eric, who just so happens to be the first person she ever sees, she would actually be better suited to John Smith. Much like Eric, John Smith travels, and that would provide the sense of adventure that Ariel is seeking.

John Smith's personality also suits the mermaid far more than Eric's. Ariel is shown to be a very bubbly and talkative person when she's underwater, and Smith is similar in that regard. He ends up with Pocahontas, who also isn't as big of a personality as Ariel.

Prince Naveen - Belle

Naveen and Belle

Belle is the most intelligent Disney Princess and someone who is more than happy to think for herself, which is why Naveen would be a good match for her. He would challenge Belle, bringing the best out of her by asking questions with his curious and inquisitive personality.

Eric - Tiana

Both Eric and Tiana are two characters who are prepared to hustle and work hard, and that work ethic is something that would make them a great match. While Eric does have wealth and status, he doesn't let that go to his head in the same way that Naveen does, which Tiana would likely admire.

Eric could easily help Tiana achieve her dream of opening a restaurant, and with Eric having such a kind and warm personality, it is very easy to see how they would get along perfectly together.
