Subscribing to Disney+ is a quick and easy process, and there's even a way to get it for free. On Tuesday 12 November, 2019, the House of Mouse will join the streaming wars with a service packed with over 800 titles, which includes over 300 movies and over 7,000 television episodes.

Disney+ will feature a multitude of movies and TV shows from its in-house properties, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Fox. Subscribers will have access to some of Disney's most popular animated films, ranging from the original The Lion King to more modern favorites like Frozen. Also found in Disney+'s extensive library are movies like Avengers: Endgame and Iron Man from the MCU, and almost every movie in the Star Wars franchise. Perhaps its biggest appeal, however, is the original programming offered by Disney+, which consists of several shows from the Star Wars universe and the MCU, like The Mandalorian and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Here's how to subscribe to Disney+ for free. Simply go to the official Disney+ website and choose if you want a yearly subscription ($69.99) or a monthly subscription ($6.99). After that, enter an email address, create a password, and put in the proper payment information. This is the extent of the subscription process, so it doesn't take long to complete. Also, there's no need to wait until November 12. This can be done now or after the service launches.

Free Year Disney+ Subscription With Verizon

There is another way to get Disney+ for free beyond the trial offered to all customers. Verizon and Disney have reached a deal that grants Verizon customers who have Verizon Wireless unlimited 4G LTE or 5G an entire year of Disney+, free of charge. This deal applies to new and old Verizon customers, so it won't matter if you already own this package, you can still get Disney+ free for no extra charge. Customers who purchase Verizon's Fios Home Internet packages can also received Disney+ for free.

For those who enjoy multiple streaming services and want to jump on the Disney+ bandwagon, one possible option is the Disney+ bundle, which costs $12.99 a month and comes with Hulu and ESPN+. The problem is that it's not altogether clear on how to buy this bundle, as it isn't expected to be available until launch day. However, if you're an existing customer of one of the other services, then you should be able to purchase the bundle once available, and still manage your existing subscriptions as normal, as Disney will credit you the difference in price each month. Beyond that, getting Disney+ by itself is easy enough, and can be done in just a few quick steps as outlined above.
