The following article is a comprehensive list of new movies and TV shows coming to Disney+ on Disney+ Day. November 12, 2021 marks the two-year anniversary of the launch of Disney+, and that’s being celebrated with a slew of new movies and TV shows being added to the streaming service. Some of it is old content just being added to the service for the first time, including a series of short films that were previously only available on the Walt Disney Animation Studios Short Films Collection, but there’s also brand new content making its exclusive premiere on Disney+ that day.

In addition to new content being added, Disney is also set to put on a special presentation on Disney+ Day regarding their Disney+ streaming service. The exact details of the presentation are unknown, but the company is likely to announce new content coming to Disney+ in upcoming months at that time for all of their major brands, whether it be Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, or general Disney products.

Olaf reenacts The Little Mermaid in Olaf Presents

Intertwined - Intertwined is an Argentinian musical dramedy coming to Disney+. The series is about aspiring actress Allegra who can’t follow her dreams because of problems with her family, but when she travels back in time to when her family’s problems began and works to fix them so she can follow her dreams.

Olaf Presents - Olaf Presents is a brand new short series starring Olaf of the Disney film Frozen. The series is set to be ninety-second recaps of various Disney films such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Lion King, Tangled, and Moana, all in the same vein as the recap Olaf gave of the original Frozen in Frozen II.

Frozen Fever - Frozen Fever is the first official follow-up to the original Frozen film. Released in 2015, Frozen Fever is a short film about Elsa trying to throw Anna a surprise birthday party with help from Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf.

Tangled Ever After - Tangled Ever After is the first official follow-up to the original Tangled film that shows the wedding of Rapunzel and Eugene. Both Tangled and Tangled Ever After would later receive an interquel in the cartoon series Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure.

Get A Horse! - Get A Horse! is a Disney short film that was done in the same style as the classic Mickey Mouse shorts from the 1920s. Get A Horse! Was directed by Lauren MacMullan, making her the first woman to solo direct a short film at Disney, and the short film also features archival recordings of Walt Disney as Mickey Mouse.

The Little Matchgirl - The Little Matchgirl is Disney’s version of the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale of the same name. The short film was directed by Roger Allers, co-director of the animated classic The Lion King and writer of the Broadway adaptation, and it was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short, but lost to The Danish Poet.

Tick Tock Tale - Tick Tock Tale is a Disney short about a clock shop where the clocks come to life at night. Tick Tock Tale was originally supposed to be played with Tangled in theaters, but was instead first released on the Walt Disney Animation Studios Short Films Collection, making this the first time the short film is being released in another format.

Paperman - Paperman is the story of how paper is used to bring about love between two people. Paperman won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film, making it the first Academy Award-winning short film to be produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios since 1969’s It’s Tough to Be a Bird.

Feast - Feast is the story of one man's love life as seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share.

Disney+ Star

Dopesick - Dopesick is a Hulu series starring Michael Keaton is focused on the epicenter of America's struggle with Opioid addiction across the U.S. Since Dopesick is part of Disney+ Star, it’s only available to those outside of the states or anyone with a VPN.

Marvel Studios’ 2021 Disney+ Day Special - Marvel Studios’ 2021 Disney+ Day Special is a special set to explore the past, present, and future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is likely to be a combination of a retrospective of the MCU and news regarding upcoming projects.

The World According to Jeff Goldblum - The World According to Jeff Goldblum, the documentary series where Jeff Goldblum details various aspects of life, premieres its second season on November 12, 2021. The first five episodes of a ten-episode season will drop on Disney+ on Disney+ Day.
