The Avengers 4 trailer is yet to premiere, but Disney has released trailers for four movies that hit theaters AFTER the Marvel Studios film - Aladdin, Toy Story 4, The Lion King and Artemis Fowl. Next year, Marvel Studios will wrap up the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far and conclude Phase 3 with the release of Avengers 4. After the cliffhanger ending of Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers 4 is arguably the most anticipated MCU release of 2019, especially because the studio has kept as many details under wraps as possible - including the movie's title. Fans are eagerly looking forward to the Avengers 4 trailer release and title confirmation, with a number of rumors circulating online about when they will be revealed.

However, while Marvel fans continue to wait for any sign of when the Avengers 4 trailer will drop, the studio's parent company, Disney, has been busy promoting their upcoming non-superhero 2019 lineup. It's typical for studios to debut trailers for the next year's biggest movies at the end of the calendar year so that they can kick start those marketing pushes and have the trailers attached to the big December releases. True to form, Disney has unveiled trailers for four of its big 2019 releases over the past few weeks, and Marvel fans can't help but notice the movies hit theaters after Avengers 4.

The Aladdin teaser trailer debuted last month, before the film's late May 2019 release; two separate Toy Story 4 teaser trailers were released earlier in November introducing new characters to the Pixar movie ahead of its June 2019 bow; Disney debuted The Lion King teaser on Thanksgiving, before it hits theaters in July 2019; and most recently, the Mouse House unveiled the first trailer for Artemis Fowl ahead of the adaptation's August 2019 debut. However, Avengers 4 hits theaters in early May 2019 (three weeks before Aladdin) and still hasn't released a teaser trailer, nor announced when the trailer might drop.

Marvel fans are no doubt getting frustrated with the studio for withholding the Avengers 4 trailer for so long. It doesn't help that some of Marvel's social media is actively trolling Avengers 4 fans who are eagerly anticipating the trailer's release. Even Avengers 4 co-director Joe Russo has gotten in on the trolling, holding an Instagram Live Q&A and purposefully cutting it off - twice - just as he was seemingly about to reveal the Avengers 4 title. All the build-up and trolling may make some Marvel fans bitter about the studio and its employees' tactics, but sentiment will no doubt change once the teaser is actually unveiled.

Of course, it makes sense for Disney to hold back the Avengers 4 trailer until after they've rolled out all their other teasers. The Marvel movie is sure to be the main topic of conversation for days, if not weeks, after the initial footage premieres. Avengers 4 is not only expected to be the biggest MCU movie of 2019, it could also be the biggest movie of 2019 - period. (Though it has some stiff competition from Star Wars 9.) As such, Disney rolling out its other big trailers before Avengers 4 is a good effort to make sure the studio doesn't cannibalize its own trailer launches.

Now, though, with Disney having debuted trailers for its other biggest releases of 2019, it seems Avengers 4 will be next. That being said, when the Avengers 4 trailer will drop is still unconfirmed by Disney/Marvel.
