10 Pop! Rides: Toy Story - Woody with RC, Multicolor

The Toy Story franchise is finally continuing this year after a nine-year hiatus with Toy Story 4, a romantic comedy that pairs Woody back up with his ex-girlfriend Bo Peep. This Funko Pop figure recreates Woody’s look from the climactic sequence of the first movie.

He was trying to save Buzz from the rocket strapped to his back and follow Andy’s moving van to the new house at the same time, and he needed RC to build up the speed to do that. It’s unclear if RC will reappear in the fourth movie, but there will be a batch of new characters.

9 Aladdin - Magic Carpet Ride, Standard, Multicolor

Aladdin is being remade in live-action form this year. The animated original starring Robin Williams is a classic, but under the direction of Guy Ritchie, Will Smith is boldly trying to bring the Genie character to a new generation of moviegoers.

The early trailers featuring Smith’s CGI Genie were met with a mixed response, but the more recent trailers for the movie have been met with a warmer, more positive response. If anything, the response to the remake has reminded people how much they loved the original. So, check out this Funko Pop figure of Aladdin and Jasmine on the flying carpet.

8 Funko POP! Disney: Incredibles 2 - Jack-Jack

Last year, Brad Bird finally caved to all the pressure from fans and gave us a sequel to his hit superhero comedy The Incredibles. The sequel’s box office success surpassed the first movie by far and it managed to rank among the highest grossing superhero movies ever made, even with all the saturation that has hit that market in the past few years.

Jack Jack became a lot of fans’ favorite character after he was given more of a focus in the sequel. His powers are unpredictable and he has a lot of them, but that’s what makes him so great.

7 Funko Pop Disney Lion King - Rafiki with Simba Toy

The Lion King is the latest Disney classic to get a live-action remake. Jon Favreau, who previously helmed the 2016 photorealistic live-action retooling of The Jungle Book, is back in the director’s chair for this one, which has cast the perfect batch of actors to play the famous roles: Donald Glover as Simba, James Earl Jones reprising his role as Mufasa, Beyoncé Knowles as Nala, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa, Billy Eichner as Timon, John Oliver as Zazu etc.

Now, you can immortalize your Lion King obsession with this Funko Pop featuring Rafiki holding baby Simba from the film’s opening scene.

6 Funko POP Disney: Lilo & Stitch - Stitch Vinyl Figure

Stitch is one of the most popular Disney characters ever created. He became so popular from his appearance in the original Lilo & Stitch movie that the inevitable sequel was focused entirely on him.

A few months ago, Lilo & Stitch was the latest Disney animated classic to have a live-action remake announced to be in development. Hopefully, the reimagined CGI version of the character will be able to retain the cuteness and the charm of the original. This Funko Pop figure finds the character in his adorable little space suit with a couple of laser blasters in his hands.

5 Funko Pop Disney: Mickey's 90Th - Apprentice Mickey Collectible Figure, Multicolor

Mickey Mouse was the very first cartoon character under the Walt Disney banner. He has since gone on to become the corporate icon that represents the whole company, because everyone recognizes him. They can even recognize three black circles placed in the right place as symbolizing Mickey Mouse’s head and ears.

Here, we see him in his magician robes from the movie Fantasia, in the form of the “Apprentice” character. The magical sequences in that movie proved to be so popular that a whole $150 million movie called The Sorcerer’s Apprentice starring Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel was adapted from it.

4 Funko Pop! Disney: Lion King - Mufasa Toy, Multicolor

James Earl Jones’ booming voice is most iconic for playing Darth Vader in the Star Wars saga. However, if Vader was out of the equation, his most iconic role would be that of Mufasa in The Lion King.

His voice was connected with that character like few actors’ voices are with animated roles. Jones’ voice is so unique and identifiable with the Mufasa character that he wasn’t recast for the upcoming live-action remake; they’re just getting James Earl Jones to come back in and do the lines all over again. It would feel disingenuous if anyone besides James Earl Jones played the character.

3 Funko POP Disney Series 4 Wall-E Vinyl Figure

Wall-E is a powerful movie. It has lovable characters and a strong narrative. It’s visually impeccable with gorgeous animation. But it also carries a powerful environmentalist message. What’s incredible about the character is that sound designer Ben Burtt managed to create serious emotion in Wall-E without ever giving him any words to say.

Instead, computerized whirring sounds were mixed together to create the impression of what Wall-E is thinking and saying. Burtt did the same with R2-D2 in the Star Wars movies. Wall-E might be a big, grand movie set in the future with sci-fi themes, but it is also grounded and human and relatable.

2 Funko Disney Dumbo with Timothy (Festival of Friends Exclusive)

Dumbo is back in theaters after becoming an adorable icon of the screen several decades ago. Tim Burton has directed a live-action remake starring actors such as Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton, Eva Green, and Danny DeVito. The visual style has switched from the original to a sort of freaky, postmodern, steampunk thing – but the titular flying elephant is still just as lovable and wondrous.

If anything, being able to really see him makes him even more wondrous. Now, you can really see him on your desk or shelf with this Funko Pop figure modeled after the character. It’s a Festival of Friends exclusive item.

1 Funko Pop! Disney: Aladdin - Genie with Lamp, Multicolor

During the casting process for the original Aladdin, Robin Williams was unsure if he was the right voice for the Genie character. The producers were desperate to get him on board the project because the whole character had been created and written specifically for him.

So, they animated one of his standup routines with the Genie and showed it to him, which finally proved to him that the character could work out really well. It also helped that he could improvise with the character like he wanted to like he always does with his live-action roles. This Funko Pop figure captures the character perfectly.
