With a universe as vast as that of Disney's properties, Disney Dreamlight Valley has plenty of opportunities to add new worlds before its official launch in 2023. The early release of Dreamlight Valley began on September 6, 2022 on all platforms. It is currently available for those who purchase one of the Founder's Packs or through Xbox Game Pass.

Dreamlight Valley in its current state has eight different biomes, as well as five smaller sub-worlds where new characters are obtained. The eight different biomes are: The Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Sunlit Plateau, Forgotten Lands, Forest of Valor, Frosted Heights, and Glade of Trust. The current sub-worlds, unlockabed via doors in the castle or by completing quests, are tied to Moana, Wall-E, Ratatouille, Frozen, and The Little Mermaid.

With the vast amount of characters to befriend in Dreamlight Valley, there are plenty of chances for new biomes or new worlds to be introduced as Dreamlight Valley progresses. Currently, the Castle alone has 24 doors that are unlabeled which are all opportunities for new characters and new worlds. There are also plenty of new biomes that could be added for players to explore.

Biomes And Worlds That Can Be Added To Dreamlight Valley

Peter Pan's Neverland and the bayou from The Princess and the Frog could appear in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

The current locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley cover quite a lot of the possibilities as far as full biomes go, but there are a few that could still come into play. The bayou from The Princess and the Frog would be a perfect biome for the player to explore and to introduce Tiana. It would also offer for new Dreamlight Valley cooking recipes, ingredients, and collectibles. Neverland from Peter Pan would also be a great biome, especially as a bay off of the coast where Captain Hook and other characters could be discovered. While many of the foraging options would be similar to that of Dazzle Beach, some could be added here as well. Disney could also add a jungle biome to incorporate movies like The Jungle Book and parts of The Lion King.

As far as worlds accessed through the doors in the Castle are concerned, there are countless mini worlds that could be included. Wonderland from Alice in Wonderland, Monstropolis from Monsters Inc., and Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas would all be the perfect places to introduce new characters to bring back to Dreamlight Valley.

With Disney Dreamlight Valley still in its early access period, there are plenty of opportunities for Disney and Gameloft to add new biomes and mini worlds for the player to explore, forage, and meet new classic Disney characters. Players get to explore the Disney universe in their own way with this game. With Scar from Lion King and Woody from Toy Story already confirmed, the list of characters and worlds in Disney Dreamlight Valley is already expanding.
