"The Heart of Dreamlight Valley" is a Friendship Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley that becomes available once players have achieved Friendship Level 10 with Maui, the demigod of Moana. As its name suggests, this quest tasks players with restoring a precious gemstone that Maui states to be the Heart of Dreamlight Valley. If players recall the interior of Dreamlight Castle, they will remember seeing a tall golden statue of Mickey Mouse in Disney Dreamlight Valley, holding his hand out in the air. Accordingly, the palm of his hand is where this heart crystal must be placed.
At the start of "The Heart of Dreamlight Valley" in Disney Dreamlight Valley, Maui will give the player protagonist a chunk of Limestone and three Scraping Stones. Using these materials, Dreamers must head to a crafting bench to make a Cleansed Up Limestone. Take this crafted item back to Maui to continue this Friendship Quest.
After examing the Cleansed Up Limestone during "The Heart of Dreamlight Valley," Maui will conclude that this chunk of stone is part of the object that used to be in the hand of the Mickey Mouse statue in Dreamlight Castle. Completing The Heart of Dreamlight Valley Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
After entering Dreamlight Castle, go up the staircase and follow the path to the top area where the golden fountain sits. To find the missing piece of the Heart of Dreamlight Valley, investigate the right side of the fountain to find the corresponding quest item in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Speak with Maui once more before giving Merlin a visit to discuss how to restore the Heart. As one well-versed in restoration magic, Merlin knows which ingredients would mend the Heart of Dreamlight Valley. To restore the Heart of Dreamlight Valley, players will need 3 Purified Night Shards, Water from the Forgotten Lands, and Water from the Frosted Heights.
The first resource can be obtained by combining a single Dream Shard with five Night Shards. Therefore, players will need 3 Dream Shards and 15 Night Shards to craft the required number of Purified Night Shards. Next, to get Water from the Forgotten Lands, investigate the two ponds in the biome. One of the ponds should have a sparkling node that produces a vial of Water. Likewise, travel to the Frosted Heights and search the bodies of Water in the area. According to YouTuber Quick Tips, players should be able to find the quest item at the mouth of the river to the north. After collecting all the Friendship Quest resources, craft the Heart of Dreamlight Valley in Disney Dreamlight Valley and interact with Maui to complete the quest.
