From classic pairings like Snow White and her Prince Charming to more recent partnerships like Gadget and Zipper of the Rescue Rangers, Disney has had more than its fair share of iconic couples. From romantic royals to dear friends discovering deeper feelings, there's no shortage of adorable and heart-warming love stories under the studio's moniker.

That all being said, many of their most famous characters have gone beyond just being sweethearts. Some iconic and well-known Disney stars have even tied the knot and have been living in married bliss for some time. With so many films in their library, it can be easy to forget who's with who.

Aladdin And Jasmine

The original Aladdin was an icon of the Disney renaissance and a centerpiece of the 90s. Of course, that's to be expected when Robin Williams voices one of the leads. But as many fans experienced a whole New World with Aladdin and Jasmine, some modern fans forget that the pair were canonically married in a direct-to-video-sequel.

There's a certain stigma surrounding the Disney sequels, but Aladdin and the King of Thieves is arguably one of the better ones. Aladdin and Jasmine have a narrative arc surrounding their wedding when it's interrupted by the appearance of The Forty Thieves and Aladdin's long-lost father. Throw in a quest for the Hand of Midas and a soundtrack by Alan Menken and it's an underrated Disney gem.

Frozone

Frozone turns on the charm in The Incredibles

"Honey, where is my super suit?" is a quote that many couples have more than likely used as playful banter in their relationships, yet it's often overshadowed that Frozone isn't just calling out to a significant other, but his wife. Although she doesn't physically appear in the Incredibles movies, Honey Best does appear in some of Pixar's concept art.

Since the only place she's associated with in the canon is in this single line, the name Honey Best is all but obscure to the mainstream fans. With the demand for the second Incredibles movie, maybe a third could feature Frozone and his wife in more pronounced roles.

Fix-It Felix and Commander Calhoun

Felix and Calhoun share wedding kiss in Wreck-It Ralph

Similar to Aladdin and Jasmine's arrangement, Fix-It Felix and Commander Calhoun have had an entire feature film to expand on their married life, but it tends to get overlooked because it's a sequel. Given the fact that the two are married at the very end of the original Wreck-It Ralph shortly before the credits roll, it's understandable how that nugget of information can be forgotten.

Felix and Calhoun are a great example of a romantic odd couple. Where one is sweet, chipper, and optimistic, the other is rugged, strong, and methodical. The fact that their gender roles associated with these qualities are also reversed is both a charming and comedic touch as well.

Mrs. Potts And Cogsworth

Cogsworth and Mrs. Potts as they appeared in the Beauty and the Beast Remake

Although their live-action Disney remake somewhat polarized fans to an extent, one thing the movie was successful in was expanding the lore of the characters and central plotline of the tale as old as time. The enchanted objects weren't just servants when they went under the Enchantress's spell, they were human beings with friends, families, and even spouses.

At the end of the film, it's revealed that there's not only a Mr. Potts in the picture, but one of the angry villagers in the mob was once married to Cogsworth as well. The reunion of the two couples symbolizes that not only did the spell affect people in the castle, but also those in the surrounding areas, revealing just how much the Prince's greed and vanity hurt those around him.

Pongo And Perdita

Pongo and Perdita in 101 Dalmatians

On one hand, Pongo and Perdita are pet dalmatians and they aren't bound to the same constructs and social laws that their human counterparts are. On the other hand, the way they are framed and presented in the scene where their owners tie the knot at the cathedral is too perfect not to be considered the genuine article.

Yes, it's an artistic choice positioning the two dogs together to mirror the act of their owners getting married. However, the fact that the filmmakers went this far to paint such a literal picture to complement their romantic intent means that the Dalmatians are married in more than just the symbolic sense.

Milo And Kida

Kida and Milo in Atlantis

Milo Thatch and Kida make up one of Disney's most realistic romantic couples, but their marriage is somewhat glanced over as their film comes to a close. However, that's not due to any lack of trying, it's simply because their relationship is handled more slowly and subtly than other Disney pairings.

They have great chemistry even after they first meet. And after the end of their adventure, the only sign of true affection between them is a handhold as the king's mask rises to join the Heart of Atlantis. As Kida assumes her father's place on the throne, Milo is ruling right beside her in an advisory role.

Rapunzel And Flynn Ryder

Flynn and Rapunzel are Married in Tangled Ever After

While it's blatantly established that the pair are indeed a married couple, as they even got a short film surrounding the literal wedding ceremony, it might be swept under the rug because the pair have simply done so much since their movie premiered. With a feature film, a short film with Maximus and Pascal, and an entire animated series of adventures under their respective belts, it can be easy to forget that they are officially husband and wife.

That all being said, Flynn and Rapunzel still have that same couple energy they've had since they first arrived in the kingdom of Corona, and that doesn't change across their media.

Mickey And Minnie (Kinda)

Mickey Mouse holding a rose in his mouth and talking to Minnie Mouse

Mickey and Minnie are without a doubt the most recognizable couple in all of Disney, if not all of animated media. However, they have never been canonically married or made 100% official, at least not in the script. In the mind of their creator, Walt Disney, that matter was already resolved way back in 1933.

In an interview with Walt himself, it was stated that Mickey and Minnie have been married for at least 89 years now. They've always been a couple on and off-screen, and that's the way the studio has kept it for decades.

Jack And Sally

Sally and Jack Skellington - The Nightmare Before Christmas

Jack and Sally are where things start to get a little more complicated. Nevertheless, they are indeed married in the canon of The Nightmare Before Christmas. When the viewers last see the power couple of Halloween Town, they exchange a kiss on top of the curly hilltop as Zero takes the camera out of the shot and into the sky. But the story doesn't end there.

Those who have listened to the official soundtrack know that the opening narration is read by Sir Patrick Stewart instead of Ed Ivory, but it's also accompanied by an epilogue where Santa sees Jack again years later. It's implied that Jack and Sally now have a family "with four or five skeleton children at hand." It's certainly an ending that deserved to be animated.

Goofy

Goofy in his house

A sad but true fact that often goes forgotten by even the most hardcore Disney fans is that Goofy isn't just a single dad, he's a widower. At least, that's what seems to be the case. For Max to exist, there had to have been a Mrs. Goofy at some point. However, the answer still remains unclear.

There's plenty of speculation as to what happened to Goofy's wife and Max's mother, but there is no definitive answer. What is known is that the dippy dawg's backstory might be more complex than most fans give him credit for.
