A dedicated Marvel fan has created an alternative poster for Avengers: Infinity War that reimagines dozens of Disney characters as the Avengers. Since the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp in July, Marvel fans have been facing the longest wait for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie since Captain America: Civil War, and as they keep an eye on the horizon for the first Captain Marvel trailer, many have been getting creative.

Amid the feverish speculation about what will happen in next year's Avengers 4, artists have been offering visual takes on their own theories. We've seen fan art of Iron Man holding up Thanos' severed head, fan art of Hawkeye transforming into Ronin, fan art that gives Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter a happy ending, and fan art that imagines Captain Marvel punching a hole through Thanos' chest (apparently people are still very angry at Thanos).

The latest piece of Avengers fan art to catch our eye is this fun mash-up from Prime Premne Design for a movie called D-Vengers: Infini-D War. The concept behind the poster is casting characters from beloved Disney TV shows (including some characters who originated in movies before moving to TV) as the massive lineup in Avengers: Infinity War. Even minor characters like Wong and Cull Obsidian are included, and the Disney cartoon characters range from the well-known (Phineas, of Phineas and Ferb fame) to the obscure (Sylvia from Wander Over Yonder). Check out the revamped poster below.

Disney characters as Avengers

The poster for D-Vengers: Infini-D War features 35 different Disney characters from classic Disney Channel TV shows as the Avengers, their friends, and their foes. The artist has put together a handy visual guide if you need help identifying them all. Highlights include Goliath from Gargoyles as the Hulk, Kim Possible as Black Widow, and TJ from Recess as plucky young superhero Spider-Man. Stitch as Rocket Raccoon is also pretty adorable. The design is available on a T-shirt over at RIPT Apparel.

If you take a close look at the design you'll spot a lot of interesting details, like the magic carpet from Aladdin being reinvented as Doctor Strange's Cloak of Levitation. It's hard to make out at this resolution, but apparently the Infinity Stones in the Infinity Gauntlet are actually Mickey Mouse and Friends icons. We love to see creative fan art like this, and we recommend checking out other works from the same artist - like this "Shrinkin' Park" album cover that features the Wasp.
