ZA/UM, the game's developer, announced a physical copy of Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will become available on March 15th, 2022. Players will have two choices: a standard edition for $39.99, or a special Collector's Edition for $250. If players purchase the Collector's Edition, Nintendo Life reports they'll get "a variety of extras like a ‘Mind Totem’ vinyl sculpture, a hardbound artbook and an illustrated fabric map." For players who aren't looking to spend as much money, the standard physical copy of the game will still come with a few extras: a poster and a digital version of the previously mentioned artbook will be included.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut Collector's Edition

Given Disco Elysium: The Final Cut's extra content is already incredibly expansive, making this Collector's Edition possibly appear to some as overkill, but it's a welcome option for big fans of the game. A game with such an interesting art style lends itself perfectly to a special edition like this one - getting to see more of the creative process that went behind the unique noir designs of Disco Elysium is bound to entice many fans into buying the Collector's Edition. While the $250 price is steep, the amount of handmade art and detailed history offered by this edition will definitely be worth it for some players.

Whichever edition gamers choose, both will fit in nicely within a gaming collection. Despite the growing popularity of digital downloads for video games, many still prefer physical copies - they can be displayed with other games as both decoration and a tribute to a player's favorite titles. Whichever physical copy option Disco Elysium: The Final Cut fans opt for when they're released in the spring of next year, both options will undoubtedly enrich many gamers' collections.
