The pair met on the set of On Her Majesty's Secret Service, where Rigg starred opposite of Lazenby as Tracy Di Vicenzo; the photo Lazenby uploaded of him and Rigg standing back-to-back to each other is likely from their time on set. Lazenby also alludes to Rigg's character of Tracy Di Vicenzo, and how he wept at her on-screen death, in spite of how it "created a memorable cinema moment" five decades before. In present-day upon learning of Rigg's death, Lazenby writes that he wept again. While On Her Majesty's Secret Service was criticized when it came out in the 1960s, it's now fondly remembered today, especially the interaction and relationship between James Bond and Tracy Di Vicenzo. Regardless, it's clear that Lazenby look back at his time on set with the utmost respect for Rigg and the incredible character that she helped bring to life.

While Rigg starred in numerous projects throughout her life, her role in On Her Majesty's Secret Service was one that fans recall particularly fondly. Although Rigg shone in all her roles, her portrayal of fiery Tracy Di Vicenzo - later Tracy Bond - has solidified her as one of the most memorable Bond girls. That being said, while the James Bond franchise has since continue to evolve with new actors and actresses entering the universe, the legacy left behind by Rigg will always be remembered by her fans and co-stars alike.
