Being a free-to-play game, it is unsurprising that Diablo Immortal has a Battle Pass and other microtransactions. Other free-to-play or live service games have Battle Passes like Genshin Impact. Each season, players have several items they can earn by completing certain objectives within the game. If they are willing to pay money, they can earn even more items and get access to them more quickly. Great for those with limited time.

Of course, every game implements its Battle Pass slightly differently, and Diablo Immortal is no exception. It can be somewhat confusing to navigate. This is partly due to the fact that players don’t have access to it right away. They will need to complete some story quests before they can even access the Battle Pass. There are also many different types of currencies within the game, which can baffle new players as to what does what.

How To Unlock the Battle Pass in Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal Battle Pass

Players unlock access to the battle pass once they reach the Mad King’s Breach through the main questline of Diablo Immortal. From this point onwards, players can access the battle pass through the menu. There are two tracks: the free track, which is granted to all players, and the Empowered track, which players unlock with an Empowered Battle Pass, which players can purchase for $4.99. In addition, they can also purchase the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass for $14.99, which gives players a rank boost and cosmetic rewards. Whether Diablo Immortal is on mobile or PC, click the three parallel lines in the top right corner, then Battle Pass on the top left to access it.

Players can determine the objectives for the Battle Pass through Diablo Immortal’s Codex. In addition, they can complete Guide objectives, Activities, or Quests. Completing any or all these earns player Battle Points. Battle Points are represented by a special yellow orb icon and function like XP. Gain enough Battle Points, and players will increase their Battle Pass rank. Players can also rank up by spending Eternal Orbs purchased with real money. There are many ways to spend real money in Diablo Immortal on mobile or PC, but it is not mandatory. Keep in mind that there is a maximum cap on Battle Points per week. The cap is reset every Monday, so be sure to earn the maximum number of Battle Points before then.

It will take either time, money, or a combination of both to rank all the way up on the Battle Pass. If players reach the maximum of rank 40, they earn a Gift of Renown for every additional 180 Battle Points they earned, up to a maximum of 20 per season. The Battle Pass in Diablo Immortal lasts for a little over a month, at which time a new season starts, along with a new Battle Pass and new rewards. Diablo Immortal was released on June 2, 2022, and earlier on mobile. There is plenty of time to complete all the Battle Pass objectives and get to rank 40.
