Diablo 2: Resurrected features quests hidden areas like Hellforge that can be hard for players to find. Many of the quests in the game can be confusing to complete. Some, like the Tools of the Trade quest, are completely missable, while others involve fighting through hordes of powerful enemies. Players looking to complete the Hell's Forge quest in Act IV will need to find the Hellforge area and battle Hephasto the Armorer, a Super Unique boss.

Hell's Forge must be completed to prevent Mephisto from coming back and wreaking havoc once more. This quest is also one of the steps to prepare for the fight with Diablo at the end of Act IV. Players will need to have the Soulstone, earned by defeating Mephisto in Act III, as well as the Hellforge Hammer that drops from the boss in the area.

To obtain the Hell's Forge quest, players will need to complete Fallen Angel or enter the River of Flame. Finding the Hellforge can be difficult and confusing, especially because the maps in Diablo 2: Resurrected are randomly generated. There is a specific path that players can follow in order to locate this area a bit easier, but the exact location will be different in each game. Players should be well equipped to fight many enemies when embarking on this quest. If needed, players can respec their character in Diablo 2: Resurrected in order to create a better build.

Finding the Hellforge in Diablo 2: Resurrected

Players need to destroy the Soulstone in Hell's Forge in order to gain access to Diablo's lair. The Hellforge can be found by going through the River of Flame, which is accessed at a staircase entrance in the City of the Damned. Unfortunately, Diablo 2: Resurrected has randomly generated maps, so it may take some time to explore the River of Flame area. There will be a large number of enemies to fight off in this area, so players should consider a top build, like the Trapper Assassin.

Once the Hellforge is found, the Super Unique boss, Hephasto the Armorer, will need to be defeated. This boss is challenging, especially on higher difficulties where it gains more immunities. Hephasto is magic resistant and can randomly be immune to elements like lightning or fire. Using a well-rounded character, such as the Summoner Necromancer, is vital to defeating this difficult enemy. Once it's defeated, it will drop the Hellforge Hammer, which can be used to destroy the Soulstone.

Diablo 2: Resurrected has many challenging quests and enemies that players will need to prepare for. Due to the random nature of each area in the game, players will likely spend a lot of time exploring areas like the River of Flame and the Hellforge. Fighting Diablo 2: Resurrected bosses like Duriel or Hephasto the Armorer requires a diverse skill set to combat their immunities.
