Michael C. Hall and the cast of Dexter: New Blood answer Dexter-themed trivia in a new video. Following his 5-time Emmy Award-nominated portrayal of the titular serial killer, Dexter Morgan, in 8 seasons of the Showtime series, Hall recently returned to the role for a revival season subtitled New Blood which is currently four episodes into its 10 episode run. Original showrunner Clyde Phillips has also returned to try and redeem the show's much-reviled ending, which saw Dexter fake his death and relocate to Oregon to work for a lumber company.

Set 10 years after he inadvertently caused the death of his sister and left his life in Miami behind, New Blood finds Dexter living in the fictional town of Iron Lake, New York, under the alias Jim Lindsay. In this idyllic snow-covered small town, Dexter works at a small Fish and Game shop and is dating the chief of police, Angela Bishop (Julia Jones). By adhering to a strict daily routine, Dexter has been able to suppress the urges of his Dark Passenger with the help of a nagging voice in his head, his sister Deb (Jennifer Carpenter), taking the role over from their deceased father, Harry (James Remar).

Now, Showtime assembled the cast of Dexter: New Blood to put their knowledge of the show to the test with a segment dubbed "Killer Quiz Show" featuring questions concerning recent episodes all the way back to information revealed in season 1. Michael C. Hall aced just about every question with ease, while some newcomers like Jack Alcott, Johnny Sequoyah, and Clancy Brown struggled with some of the questions. Watch the video below:

The video highlights a few of the newcomers who have prominent roles in New Blood, such as Jack Alcott who plays Harrison, Dexter's son who tracks him down in Iron Lake after the death of his step-mother, Hannah (Yvonne Strahovski). After Harrison begins living with his father, he quickly develops a friendship with the police chief's daughter, Audrey (Sequoyah). Clancy Brown is one of the more high-profile actors introduced in the new season as Kurt Caldwell, the father of a man who goes missing while visiting Iron Lake.

Other than highlighting some of the new cast, Hall answering almost each question with ease (including reciting Dexter's entire breakfast prepared in the opening credits) is a testament to his love of the role that he's embodied brilliantly for almost 10 seasons now. Hopefully, Dexter: New Blood provides a much more satisfying sendoff for one of television's most beloved antiheroes than Dexter's original run did.
