Netflix is gradually but surely becoming one of the best providers of independent films - those that present an alternative to big blockbusters usually seen in cinemas. The Devil All the Time that premiered this September is one such film. It's set in the 1950s and the 1960s and tells stories of several people whose lives are influenced by religion and whose paths intersect.
The film has a memorable cast filled with some of the biggest names of today - including the MCU stars Tom Holland and Sebastian Stan, followed by Robert Pattinson, Jason Clarke, Mia Wasikowska, and many, many others. Counting Down The Minutes
Let's state the obvious fact - Tom Holland's Arvin is the main hero of The Devil All the Time. So, naturally, it takes him 46 minutes to appear in the film (which lasts over 2 hours).
If the fans go to watch the movie primarily because of Holland and are eagerly awaiting when he first makes his appearance... well, then they're in for quite a long wait. Luckily, as they say, the result's worth the wait because Holland nails the role.
Everybody Deserves A Bit Of Love
So both Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland got their fair share of love from the fans of the film - who's next? Oh yes, Sebastian Stan aka the sheriff Lee Bodecker.
Stan's role isn't as big as one might expect but he makes the most of every minute he's on the screen. Still, one has to wonder how would the film look if Chris Evans played the part like he was originally scheduled before he dropped out because of lack of time.
