Back then, Tim was dating Colombian single mom, Jeniffer Tarazona, whom he had met on a dating site. Gringo Guns owner Tim hadn't expected Jeniffer to respond to him, because he thought that she was out of his league. Soon after, the couple started having problems in their relationship, because Tim was still very close to Veronica, even after they split up. Tim and Veronica dated for several years, and remained best friends after their breakup.
Tim was also close to Veronica’s teenage daughter Chloe, whom he had helped to raise since she was a baby. Tim and Veronica were a couple for almost a decade, and were engaged for two years. Tim was planning to propose to Jeniffer with the very same ring he'd once given to Veronica. “What the f**k, is she your wife or what?” Jeniffer had asked Tim about Veronica on the show, during one of their fights about his ex. However, Jeniffer later broke up with Tim, and the couple stopped talking entirely when he claimed that he couldn’t afford her K-1 visa. He was absent because he was working. Veronica was with a friend who helped her get to the hospital, and recalled taking an Uber. Tim shut Veronica down by claiming that Uber didn’t exist back then, and described her surgery as an elective operation.

Meanwhile, onscreen, Tim remembered making the “dreams” of a different woman “come true” by dropping her off at the hospital, and giving her “money for her boobs.” It seems like Tim has dropped a lot of cash on surgeries for women, except Veronica, as it was her father who “paid for part of that without knowing.” When questioned about the details of her operation by host Shaun Robinson, 90 Day Fiancé's Veronica confessed that she “technically” used her student loan, and had to repay it. Ultimately, it was her dad who ended up funding the surgery. “I hope he doesn’t watch this,” Veronica continued, as she admitted that, at the same time she got a breast augmentation, she also had a tummy tuck.

During the episode which released on Discovery+ in March 2021, Veronica revealed that she was due for another tummy tuck. It’s not known if Veronica went under the knife again during the past year. At the time, she was dating a man called Grant Glaser, who had also featured on the 90 Day Fiancé chat show. However, the relationship didn’t last long.
