Silver Leaves are one of the few currencies that have been included in Destiny 2 alongside the Solstice event this year, and Guardians will need to constantly farm them throughout the duration of the event. Solstice is an annual summer event in Destiny 2 that sees a slight change in how it operates year after year. This year, Guardians will have to collect Silver Leaves, a paracausal item that is used to create Silver Ash. However, large quantities of Silver Ash will be needed in order to fully upgrade the Solstice armor this year, and unfortunately, only a small stack of 100 Silver Leaves can be held in the shared inventory.

Those who upgrade the Solstice armor in Destiny 2 will be able to reroll its stats, allowing Guardians to incorporate the initially low-stat armor into some of their builds. Each upgrade requires a larger amount of Silver Ash, and each armor piece is upgraded separately across all three classes. Guardians will have to continuously put in the effort throughout the three weeks that Solstice is happening if they wish to have max-stat armor on all three characters. Fortunately, a few easy tricks to farm Silver Leaves quickly have already been discovered on the first day of the event.

Before Silver Leaves can even be obtained, Guardians will first have to visit Eva Levante in the Tower and claim their Solstice armor package. Silver Leaves cannot be obtained unless this armor set is worn, and the amount that can be earned increases with each equipped piece. Guardians should wear the full set as they complete their Solstice Event Card challenges in Destiny 2 as well, allowing them to earn Silver Leaves from many of the activities in the list of challenges.

With all five pieces of the Candescent armor set equipped, Guardians can hop into any activity aside from Bonfire Bash to earn Silver Leaves. Bonfire Bash is where Guardians will be able to convert their Silver Leaves into Silver Ash, but activities such as Lost Sectors, Public Events, campaign missions, playlist modes, and more will reward players with the paracausal currency. Challenging endgame activities such as Grandmaster Nightfalls or Trials of Osiris matches won't be effective for farming Silver Leaves because they require players to sacrifice their typical builds in favor of the Candescent armor. Standard Vanguard playlist activities in Destiny 2 are a far better route, provided the individual strike doesn't take too long.

Destiny 2 content creator Fallout Plays has discovered a way to farm the Silver Leaves effectively via a mission from the Witch Queen expansion campaign. This requires a fireteam to complete, however, as it involves checkpoint hopping from one character to the next. Nonetheless, check out the video below, grab a few friends, and farm this mission as frequently as possible before it gets patched.
