Shuro Chi is the second boss in the Last Wish raid, and like Kalli, she is another corrupted Awoken in Destiny 2. The boss fight against Shruo Chi similar to Kalli's in that it makes use of the symbols, but the Guardians will have to complete some self-damaging puzzles. Her damage phases are divided into six sets, and each set starts once the Fireteam depletes 1/6 of her health.

Every damage phase is going to take place up close in this Last Wish raid boss fight. Additionally, because every damage phase is capped off, it's a great idea to have a Guardian or two use Supers that are great for clearing lesser enemies. Each phase is going to have them, and the 1/6 health bars of Shuro Chi are so small that it's almost not worth having to use Supers on her (aside from a Titan Bubble or a Warlock's Well of Radiance). Like Kalli, Destiny 2's Swords and Fusion Rifles will be the best options here, in particular, the Merciless Fusion Rifle and the Falling Guillotine Sword.

This Lost Wish raid encounter starts with a large number of Taken enemies that have to be defeated. Once they're killed, Shuro Chi will spawn in the center of a circle with three smaller circles around its outside. Many of Destiny 2's Season of the Lost weapons will help clear out the enemies quickly. A crystal will spawn in each circle, and three of the Guardians need to pick a crystal. The three Guardians need to decide which way they are going to fire the crystals, either all to the left or all to the right, and they'll shoot each other. This will damage the Guardians, but its primary purpose serves to access the first damage phase. After 1/6 of Shuro Chi's health is depleted she will teleport to another circle. Repeat this part to access the second damage phase.

Destiny 2 Last Wish Raid Hallway

Once the second damage phase is completed, Shuro Chi will lead the Fireteam to a puzzle room, where some of the same symbols seen in Destiny 2's Shattered Throne Erebus puzzle will be present. Even though the symbol on the walls are in a circle, they will be divided into nine sections, and nine circles will be in the middle of the room. Facing the puzzles, four Guardians will have to stand on the four circles that line up with the missing puzzle pieces. There are a few important details to keep in mind during this part of the Last Wish raid:

  • No Guardian can touch the same circle twice in a puzzle room
  • The circles will damage whoever stands on them
  • The puzzle starts with the symbol on the left, then the middle, then the right
  • Without a mic to communicate, this is nearly impossible

While four of the Guardians are taking care of the puzzle, the remaining two should be clearing the room of enemies. The Ignition Code, a Season of the Splicer Override weapon, is a great choice for this task thanks to its Blinding Grenade perk. Starting from the top left of the symbol, each piece is numbered one to nine, from left to right, and top to bottom. So, the top row numbers are one, two, and three, the second row is four, five, and six, and the third row is seven, eight, and nine.

One Guardian should be designated to each missing piece. For example, the first missing piece might be piece number two in the symbol, while the second missing piece is number four, the third is number five, and the fourth is number seven. Everyone hops on their pieces at the same time, the next puzzle starts, they hop on the pieces again, the next puzzle starts, and they complete the final puzzle. Floating platforms will spawn once the last Last Wish puzzle is completed. Additionally, the two Guardians defending the puzzle groups will not have to fight any of Destiny 2's Season of the Lost Champions.

Follow the platforms to reach Shuro Chi in the next arena. Clear the lesser enemies, repeat the triangle crystal trap, damage Shuro Chi once more, complete the second triangle crystal trap, damage Shuro Chi again, and finally follow her to the next puzzle. The puzzle will again have the same three phases. Complete this step to repeat the beginning phase once more. This Destiny 2 boss fight is complete once Shuro Chi loses her last bar of health, granting access to the next encounter of the Last Wish raid.
