If you've been waiting eagerly for news about Destiny 2 Shadowkeep, then Gamescom 2019 has officially broken the drought. Bungie has kept its lips sealed about the latest upcoming Season of their new flagship series, even though it drops on 1 October this year. The latest Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Gamescom trailer has now confirmed the Season of the Undying is what we have to look forward to, and that the Vex will once again be out for blood.

With Destiny 2 available for pre-order if you've not yet hopped aboard the Guardian train, the Shadowkeep trailer that was just revealed should sweeten the deal. It looks like the Season of Undying will be visiting some historic enemies, the Vex. This diabolical hive mind looks to be expanding their reach beyond the Black Garden where they've been based in lore, and one can only imagine the fresh horrors that will be thrown at us when Shadowkeep lands.

With the Season of Opulence on its way out next month, this Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Gamescom footage has given us a lot to look forward to. Whether you're a returning player or someone entirely new to the franchise, the Vex are one of the most compelling enemies in Destiny lore and will be sure to provide a one-of-a-kind experience when Shadowkeep finally releases on 1 October 2019.
