Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer has been kind to Fusion Rifles, buffing their precision damage by 15 percent, and their ammo reserves increased by 20 percent. Their range has been increased as well, allowing players an additional two meters before the damage drop-off starts. Naturally, to promote the increased stats Destiny 2's new Seasonal Ritual Weapon is a new Fusion Rifle called Null Composure.

This Fusion Rifle has been available for only a short while, yet its value in both PvP and PvE places it in the top tier of its weapon type. Earning this weapon does take some time, but it can certainly pay off. As a bonus, acquiring this weapon completes the Serenity of the Void weekly challenge from week 5.

Destiny 2: How to Get Null Composure

Destiny 2 Null Composure God Roll Splicer

The Null Composure is a Masterworked Legendary Fusion Rifle that can only be acquired through the Sacred Fusion quest. In order to complete the quest, Guardians will need to defeat targets in any playlist activity. Bonus progress can be earned by defeating enemies with Fusion Rifles, disintegrations, Solar Damage in Crucible, Gamit, and Strikes, and finally defeating enemies with the Stasis subclass equipped. Players who earn Null Composure will receive it with preset perks with an additional perk in both the third and fourth slots, just as they received the Salvager's Salvo with multiple perks.

Null Composure comes equipped with Fluted Barrel (stability and handling) and Projection Fuse (range), a choice of Heating Up or Feeding Frenzy, and a choice of Reservoir Burst or High Impact Reserve. Additionally, the weapon has a Rapid-Fire frame, meaning it has a slightly faster reload when the magazine is empty and deeper ammo reserves. Feeding Frenzy and Reservoir Burst should be the perks equipped for any Guardian regardless of playstyle. Feeding Frenzy allows for an increased reload speed after each rapid kill, while Reservoir Burst allows the weapon to deal more damage when the battery is full and causes enemies to explode on death. The perks complement one another nicely.

Much like the Ritual Weapon in Destiny 2: Season of the Chosen, Null Composure's weapon ornaments can be earned through additional quests. Players should speak with Zavala, Shaxx, and The Drifter in order to receive their respective quests. Each quest has a different set of requirements to complete in order to earn the rewards. Rewards for each of these quests earn players one of the three different weapon ornaments.
