The Hoarfrost-Z is one of the new Exotic armor pieces that players can get for their Titan in Destiny 2, and it's perfect for those who prefer to use the Stasis subclass often. Hoarfrost-Z is one of the six new Exotic armor pieces that have been included in The Witch Queen expansion, and many should find this particular armor piece to be great for PvE activities. The armor has a new Exotic intrinsic trait called Glacial Fortification, which completely changes how the Titan Barricade ability works in the Stasis subclass.

Unfortunately, the only downside to using the new Titan Exotic is that it means players can use their best Titan build in Void 3.0. However, the reason why the Hoarfrost-Z chest piece is an excellent PvE armor choice is that Glacial Fortification replaces the standard Titan Barricade with a wall of Stasis crystals. Additionally, whenever players stand behind the Stasis wall, all allies gain increased reload speed, stability, and range for as long as it stands. A high Resilience Titan can definitely make use of this Exotic frequently as that particular stat directly affects how often the Barricade ability can be used.

The new Titan Exotic chest piece is only available to players who have The Witch Queen expansion, as the prerequisite to getting it is to beat the campaign with the Titan class. Unlike the new Osteo Striga SMG in Destiny 2, Hoarfrost-Z is available to all players who own any version of the latest expansion and not just the deluxe version. After beating the final boss, players can return to Ikora for a plethora of rewards including the choice between the Hoarfrost-Z and the Loreley Splendor Helm, another Titan Exotic. Choosing one means players cannot get the other, at least immediately.

Should players choose the Titan helmet over the Exotic chest armor, they'll need to head to a Legend or Master Lost Sector anywhere in the system where that Exotic armor type is being offered as a reward. To earn any Exotic reward from these types of Lost Sectors, players will need to complete the activity solo within the allotted time, usually 15 minutes at most before rewards start diminishing. The same goes for the Loreley Splendor Helm in Destiny 2 should players end up choosing Hoarfrost-Z from Ikora.

Alternatively, players can also back out of the menu from Ikora at the end of The Witch Queen and receive both Exotics from Legend or Master Lost Sectors. The only prerequisite to getting the Exotics is having the ability to choose either-or, but not actually making the choice itself in Destiny 2. This is helpful for the best armor stat rolls, as Legend and Master Lost Sectors tend to reward high-stat armor pieces.
