In addition to Destiny 2's recent release of The Witch Queen expansion, each of the three classes Void subclass has received a revamp with the Void 3.0 update. As part of this revamp, the Void subclasses are being introduced to aspects and fragments, similar to the Stasis subclass introduced in Beyond Light. Having aspects and fragments to equip in their Void subclass will grant players unique ways to customize their subclass and build in the battle against Savathun.

While players customize their Void subclass, the aspects available to equip in Destiny 2 are class-specific and vary between the Hunter, Titan, and Warlock. The available fragments, however, are shared between these three classes. Additionally, players have the ability to swap any abilities, aspects, or fragments in their Void subclass at any time for no additional cost. The Echo of Instability, Echo of Harvest, Echo of Obscurity, and Echo of Starvation fragments will become available to players after the World's First completion of "The Witch Queen" raid.

While most of the subclass' core abilities in Destiny 2 remain the same, the Sentinel's powered melee ability now presents the choice between Shield Bash, which suppresses enemies hit, and Shield Throw. Guardians toss their Void shield in this new ranged melee and grant themselves Overshield. Additionally, the subclass has access to other Void grenades such as Void Spike, Vortex Grenade, Scatter Grenade, and Axion Bolt. To unlock these additional Grenade options, players must visit Ikora Rey on the Tower, where they may be purchased for 3,000 Glimmer each.

The Best Titan Void 3.0 Build In Destiny 2

The Best Titan Void 3.0 Build In Destiny 2

The best build for the Titan's revamped Sentinel subclass revolves around protecting allies, not only with their weapons but also their abilities. This is accomplished by players having access to multiple forms of cover and ways to grant themselves and their allies Overshield and health regeneration. Here is the build:

Sentinel Abilities

Ward of Dawn: Players create an indestructible dome that grants them and their allies increased armor and weapon damage.

Towering Barricade: Create a wall that can provide players with cover during combat.

• Strafe Lift: Provides strong directional control to players while airborne.

• Shield Throw: The new ranged melee where players can toss their Void Shield at enemies. The shield can ricochet between enemies and provides an Overshield.

• Suppressor Grenade: A grenade added in the Witch Queen expansion that explodes and suppresses enemies, preventing them from using their abilities, movement modes, or weapons.

Sentinel Aspects

• Offensive Bulwark: Players with Overshield or while inside their Ward of Dawn have increased grenade regeneration and increased melee range and damage. Melee final blows extend the duration of a player's Overshield.

• Bastion: When players activate their super, they grant Overshield to nearby allies. In addition, creating a barricade grants players and their nearby allies Overshield, and it allows players hunkered down behind it to slowly regenerate their Overshield to extend its duration.

Sentinel Fragments

• Echo of Undermining: Void grenades weaken targets, increasing the damage they take and reducing their movement speed (-20 Discipline).

• Echo of Reprisal: While surrounded, final blows grant Super energy.

• Echo of Leeching: Melee final blows start health regeneration for players and nearby allies (+10 Resilience).

The revamp of the Sentinel subclass as part of Void 3.0 has brought many refreshing changes to the subclass. With the ability to weaken enemies and provide Overshield and health regeneration for allies, Sentinel is doubling down on its role as the protector subclass in Destiny 2. Among the new Exotics added in The Witch Queen, the Edge of Action Exotic Glaive is exclusive to Titans and pairs well with the updated Sentinel subclass by allowing players to fire a protective shield from range. While there are many possible new Void 3.0 builds for Titans to use, this build is highly effective and is sure to bring Destiny 2 players success.
