Linear Fusion Rifles are powerful weapons that are great for both PvP and PvE content in Destiny 2which is why every Guardian should know how to get them in Season of the Lost. They deal large amounts of damage in a short amount of time and can take advantage of this season's Seasonal Artifact Mods. While there aren't too many Linear Fusion Rifles in Destiny 2, it's imperative to know where they can be found, and how to get them.

There are often bounties that can be purchased from vendors in Destiny 2 that require players to kill a certain number of enemies with Linear Fusion Rifles. Since Linear Fusion Rifles pack a hard punch, they're typically easy bounties to complete. However, not all Linear Fusion Rifles share the same perks or even deal the same type of damage, and with so few available, it's best to get as many of them as possible for a Guardian's arsenal.

Destiny 2: Every New Weapon in Season of the Lost

The best Linear Fusion Rifles in Season of the Lost are:

  • Lorentz Driver (Exotic) - Exotic perk allows Lorentz Driver to deal more damage after three kills
  • Sleeper Stimulant (Exotic) - Exotic perks allows lasers to penetrate enemies and refract off hard surfaces
  • Reed's Regret (Legendary) - Arrowhead Brake, Liquid Coils, Triple Tap, Vorpal Weapon
  • Threaded Needle (Legendary) - Arrowhead Brake, Liquid Coils, Clown Cartridge, Vorpal Weapon
  • Arbalest (Exotic) - Exotic perk lets Arbalest fires slugs that deal massive damage to enemy shields

Lorentz Driver is the easiest Linear Fusion Rifle to acquire this season, as it's part of both the paid and free version of the Season of the Lost passes. Sleeper Stimulant can be purchased in the Exotic Archive located in the Tower. Arbalest is a little trickier to acquire because it's an Exotic weapon that can only be earned from Exotic Engrams in Destiny 2, meaning it's earned at random.

Threaded Needle and Reed's Regret are both Legendary Linear Fusion Rifles, which means they have the chance to drop with a variety of perks. Threaded Needle is a Battleground reward, while Reed's Regret is a reward for playing Trials of Osiris. Both weapons are great choices in PvE and PvP, particularly because they can drop with the Vorpal Weapon perk. Vorpal Weapon deals additional damage to bosses and Guardians with their Super active.
