With the newest season of hit anime Demon Slayer now well underway, the current Entertainment District arc has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response. Alongside the much-loved characters from the first series, fans have been introduced to a new array of characters, from deadly demons to the epic Hashira.

While watching, fans may recognize the new voices from the series, but they can sometimes be difficult to place, especially if you don't speak the same language. Japan produces a lot of incredible voice acting talent who have a wealth of credits to their name, and so their voices may be familiar to some.

Kyojuro Rengoku - Satoshi Hino

Central to the blockbuster hit film; Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train, Rengoku burned his way into the audiences' hearts, making a big impression despite his short time in the overall series. As a member of the Demon Slayer Corps and Flame Breathing Hashira, Rengoku also left a big impression on the main characters, as his death drives Tanjiro's actions in the current arc.

Satoshi Hino is the voice of this memorable and much-loved character. He is best known for his work as Daichi Sawamura in Haikyuu, Ainz Ooal Gown in Overlord, and Sai in Naruto: Shippuden, among many others.

Shinjuro Rengoku - Rikiya Koyama

While it was this character's son who's had more of an impact on the show, so far, Rengoku's father, Shinjuro, has played an emotional role in the first half of the current series due to the intense fight scene between Tanjiro.

Earning a reputation in voice acting for colossal inhuman villains such as the Deep Sea King in One Punch Man and Coyote Stark in Bleach, Japanese voice actor and narrator Rikiya Koyama is also well known for voicing Yamato in Naruto: Shippuden and Kogoro Mouri in Case Closed.

Senjuro Rengoku - Junya Enoki

Another member of the Flame Hashira family, Rengoku's younger brother, Senjuro, appeared in both the Demon Slayer film and in the current Entertainment District arc, forming a friendship with Tanjiro after sharing in their grief.

Junya Enoki is best known for playing the protagonist Yuji Itadori in another anime hit series, Jujutsu Kaisen, as well as other roles such as Pannacotta Fugo in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind and as Spider-Man in the Japanese dub of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Akaza - Akira Ishida

As one of the main antagonists of Demon Slayer the Movie: Mungen Train, one of the best anime movies of 2020, Akaza's role has carried over to the main series as one of the now major villains in the franchise, working under Muzan in the role of Upper-Rank Three demon.

A highly successful voice actor with a wide variety of roles, Akaza is voiced by Japanese voice actor Akira Ishida. He is known best for roles in Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden as Gaara and as Katsura Kotarou in Gintama, as well as Athrun Zala in the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise.

Daki - Miyuki Sawashiro

Bishamon stands ready for battle in Noragami

As one of the primary antagonists in the newest arc, Daki is the secondary holder of the Upper Rank Six demon position. Sadistic and prideful, she is shown to have a close relationship with the main villain in the series, Muzan, and her character has also started to reveal more about Tanjiro's mysterious family life.

Voiced by prolific and highly successful Japanese voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro, some of her other prominent roles include Bishamon in Noragmi, Kurkapika in Hunter x Hunterand Celty Sturluson in Durarara!!.

Gyutaro - Ryota Osaka

Marco Bodt in Attack On Titan

A surprise addition in one of the more recently aired episodes, Gyutaro is the primary holder of the demon Upper Rank Six position, sharing it and his body with his younger sister, Daki. His gruesome appearance acts as the perfect contrast to his sister's deadly attractiveness, and the pair are a violent combination in opposition to the show's main characters.

Ryota Osaka, who voices the demon, is otherwise best known for voicing Eijun Sawamaru in Ace Of Diamond, Sadao Maou in The Devil Is A Part-Timer! and most surprisingly as Marco Bodt in Attack On Titan.

Tengen Uzui - Katsuyuki Konishi

While Uzui appeared earlier on in the series, it's been in this latest arc where his flashy personality has really been able to shine through to audiences. A member of the Demon Slayer Corps and current Sound Hashira, Uzui (and his three wives) have been a dominant part of the current output of Demon Slayer.

Uzui is voiced by Japanese voice actor Katsuyuki Konishi, who is best known for being the voice of Laxus Dreyar in Fairy Tale, Tanktop Master in One Punch Man, as well as two characters in Bleach: Keigo Asano and Shuhei Hisagi.

Suma - Nao Toyama

As one of Uzui's aforementioned three wives, Suma is one of the supporting characters in this latest series, acting as a damsel in distress who is eventually saved by Uzui, Inosuke, and Zenitsu.

Nao Toyama, a Japanese voice actress and singer, provides the voice for the character. She is also known for her roles in The World God Only Knows as lead role Kanon Nakagawa and Chitoge Kirisaki in Nisekoi.

Makio - Shizuka Ishigami

Ikumi Mito in Food Wars

Another one of Uzui's many wives, Makio comes across as more headstrong than her emotional co-wife, Suma, even when faced with the same situation of endangerment.

While one of the more minor characters and lesser-known of the voice actors among the entries, fans may still be familiar with Japanese voice actress Shizuka Ishigami's work. She is otherwise known for her work in The Promised Neverland as Nat and in Food Wars: Shokugeki No Soma as Ikumi Mito.

Hinatsuru - Atsumi Tanezaki

The final wife of demon slayer Tengen Uzui, Hinatsuru is another completely new character in this latest series. Despite having next to no screen time, her disappearance and the disappearance Uzui's other wives are what have driven the narrative in the current arc.

Voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki, a Japanese voice actress who has featured in many anime series, she is likely best known for providing the voices of Arisa Uotani in Fruits Basket, Juno in Beastars and Mujika in The Promised Neverland.
