Defiance of Yasmin is a Legendary Sniper Rifle in Destiny 2 that was added in Season 18 with the return of the King's Fall Raid. This weapon takes up the Kinetic slot, freeing up room for powerful Exotic energy weapons to use in PvP, such as Sunshot. While Defiance of Yasmin is great in both game modes, the Sniper Rifle is exceptional for defeating fellow Guardians. Players are able to craft the weapon, fine-tuning the gun to fit a specific playstyle. Defiance of Yasmin has plenty of fantastic Perks, with a God Roll for PvE and PvP.

Sniper Rifles can deal immense damage from a far distance. Prioritizing range and controlling recoil will make it easier to consistently land critical shots. Guardians also want to look for Perks that enhance aim assist and reduce the aim down sight animation. When fighting other players in PvP, a small amount of time saved can be key to victory. For PvE content, Guardians will want to grab Perks that increase Precision damage, as DPS is a major factor in end-game encounters. For example, many of the bosses in Destiny 2's King's Fall Raid require that players deal enough damage in a short window of time.

The Defiance of Yasmin is dropped in the King's Fall Raid. Guardians will need to have a skilled Fireteam because the Sniper Rifle is only rewarded after the Warpriest, Daughters of Oryx, and Oryx himself. Additionally, opening any of the secret chests in the Raid have a chance to drop Defiance of Yasmin. However, Players will need to have earned the weapon previously, as these bonus chests only contain already collected gear. Once the final encounter is completed, Guardians can also spend 20 Spoils of Conquest to purchase the Defiance of Yasmin directly. This is helpful for gathering all five Deepsight variants needed to craft the weapon.

Destiny 2 Defiance of Yasmin Perks Intrinsic Traits

The Defiance of Yasmin is an Adaptive Frame Sniper Rifle in Destiny 2 that comes with an excellent selection of Perks. PvE players will want to use Firing Line for a 20% increase in Precision damage when near two or more allies. No Distractions is also a great choice, as this will reduce flinch after aiming down the sight for one second. For PvP, Guardians will want to switch this Perk to Snapshot Sights for a faster time to aim down sights. Additionally, Firing Line should be swapped out for Opening Shot, which grants a large boost to range and accuracy on the first shot fired. The combination of these two Perks will allow Guardians to more easily swap to and shoot Defiance of Yasmin in Destiny 2's Crucible mode.
