Marvel has so far used Netflix to bring quite a few notable comic characters to life within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage have been the headliners, but other characters like Misty Knight, Punisher, and Hellcat have also made their debuts. The one leading man that has yet to appear has been Finn Jones as Danny Rand, but will do so shortly in Iron Fist. Once he is introduced, viewers won't have to wait long to see him again as he is set to take part in the superhero team-up The Defenders.

So far, plot details surrounding Danny's solo adventure have been sparse, and the same can be said for how he will be used in the team-up. As a matter of fact, much of info surrounding Defenders has been kept under wraps to this point, with not even the identity of Sigourney Weaver's villain being revealed. However, new set photos may give more insight into Danny's life.

The fan account and website Finn Jones Brasil have revealed new photos from the set of The Defenders that only focus on Danny. In the photos, he is shown walking into and out of a building wearing a suit that is much nicer than his typical attire.

Throughout every piece of promotion for Iron Fist, Danny has continued to have a look not too far away from a homeless person, so this is a big contrast to his look so far. So why is he all dressed up now? Well, it could be that he is trying to work his way back into society, and more importantly, Rand Corporations.

Rand Corporations was a company founded by Danny's father Wendell Rand and his partner Harold Meachum (David Wenham). In the comics, Harold overtakes the company after the Rand's are presumed dead, but Danny's return from the mystical city of K'un-Lun allows him to eventually regain control of the company. It would not be too surprising if events similar to this play out over the course of Iron Fist and this is showing a day in the life of Danny when he is not a crime fighting vigilante.

While this certainly seems like a possibility, it is nothing but speculation at this point. He could just as easily being job hunting or visiting one of several established characters such as Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss). However odd it would be for Danny to never climb back up the ranks to being CEO of Rand Corportaions, how quickly that move is made is unknown. It would appear to be a natural progression for him to be at come the Iron Fist finale, setting him up to be a powerful player as both Danny and Iron Fist in Defenders. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait for quite some time to truly find out why Danny is all dressed up - but expect the events of Iron Fist to further shed light on his situation.
