Ahead of its launch in a few days, Marvel has released another clip from The Defenders showing the first encounter of the Daughters of the Dragon, Misty Knight and Colleen Wing. After four solo series, Marvel and Netflix are just days away from debuting their own Avengers type event bringing together the leading names from the previous series. While Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist are the headliners, each will be bringing supporting characters from their worlds into the mini-series.

Two of these additional cast members will be Misty (Simone Missick) and Colleen (Jessica Henwick), whom comic fans know go on to form a great bond and become a crime fighting duo of their own. Together they are the Daughters of the Dragon and they'll finally meet in Defenders. Before seeing how their whole relationship unfolds, fans can now catch a glimpse at their first encounter.

Marvel has released the brief 20-second clip highlighting their meeting. In the clip below, Misty interrogates Colleen because of her unique traveling gear and the disturbing amount of blood she was covered in when she was brought in to the station. It may be a quick scene, but a fun dynamic is already being shown.

Marvel also released an additional clip focused on Luke and how he is able to get out of jail in time to participate in the team-up. As shown in the clip below, Power Man gets some help from a well-known lawyer - just not the one who also suits up to fight crime.

Both Misty and Colleen appear to have sizable supporting roles in Defenders and it is great to see that they won't spend the entirety of the show apart. Misty continues to have a nose for bringing extraordinary people into the station, and will surely see how capable Colleen really is over the course of the mini-series. With Misty set to be part of Iron Fist season 2 along with Colleen, their shared arc in Defenders should build to that possibility and the eventual formation of the Daughters of the Dragon.

The Luke clip on the other hand is simply a quick and fun piece of footage to see before the show debuts. Luke's pals found the file that cleared Luke's name at the end of Luke Cage, and with Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) continuing to impress as a lawyer, it is no surprise to see him handle Luke's case and get him free. With both of these clips just being moments of larger scenes, fans now have even more things to look forward to for this Friday.
